In summary

The Grande Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging yet enjoyable layout, and scenic views that provide an "up north" feel. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, and the practice facilities are noted as being excellent. However, some visitors express concerns about the clubhouse amenities, pricing, and the condition of the cart paths and carts, with a few mentioning issues with customer service and the need for better signage and navigation on the course.

I played here a few years ago and enjoyed it then. This time was not any different. I really enjoyed it. The course is a fun track, the greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in great shape. Paved cart paths through out the entire course. Some rough spots but easily avoided by going through the grass and back on the path. Lots of crazy elevation changes and nothing flat about the greens. The greens had been aerated and sanded so putting was a little off. The practice area is crazy as well. Large putting greens and a nice driving range. The pro shop is a little on the small side but does have…

I honestly can't say enough good things about this golf course. I was so impressed with the overall condition of the course, the carts, and pace of play. If you're looking for that up north feel in the Jackson area this is it.

Live an hour and a half away and decided to stop and play 9 holes on my way to Battle Creek for business. Course was in Great shape! Semi challenging layout yet very playable for a weekend golfer. Greens were firm and rolling fast and plenty of wildlife. Peaceful and enjoyable experience. I will be back every time I am in the area.

At a $59 mid week price point I have expectations which I believe is fair. I will not be coming back. The one guy in the clubhouse was completely void of personality and actually turned away from me when I got to the counter to get food at the turn. Golf carts are old gas and not presentable, I had to clean the windshield because it was so caked with dirt. Tee boxes are lumpy and uneven. Cart paths are in complete disrepair. Truly unfortunate to drive an hour for this experience.

Not a favorite for the price. Price is a bit high for the course, course layout is nice but lack of care isn't helpful. Most tee boxes were shotty and some fairways burned out pretty bad. Clubhouse isn't great, no easy access between front and back nine it's a bit of a drive back to clubhouse and then back again to hole 10. Needs improvement for bar and food. Practice range and green are very nice!

Absolutely gorgeous course, very friendly staff and an absolutely gorgeous cart girl. Had some blemishes on the course but so has every course I've played in 2020. Will definitely play here again

Great layout, enjoy the course couple times a year. Senior rate from $45 two weeks ago going up to $59 last week, in very wrong direction! The management is either short sighted or need money for some wrong reasons.

A favorite annual stop for our weekend group. Lots of fun holes, wide fairways, and large tough greens. Always a good time.

The golf course was in great shape. And the Staff was super friendly. It’s definitely a challenging course with big greens and tough pins, but one that can be scored on. The Carts have GPS to the pin which is nice. My only knock on this course would the lack of bar/restaurant for a post round drink. But that doesn’t take away from it being one of the best courses in the area.

Beautiful course... My only disappointed was that at the turn you do not go past the clubhouse. It was my first time there and I was unaware of this, plus there was no beverage cart on the course! The weather wasn't the greatest, but the pro shop should have maybe informed us of the fact? I will return, I'll just be better prepared.

Very enjoyable round! I made the drive from Grand Rapids, and it was absolutely worth it. The course offers a great mix of holes, excellent conditions, and some really nice views throughout. The cherry on top was the pace of play—2 hours and 30 minutes for 18 holes, likely thanks to the rain opening things up. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother round. Keep up the great work!

Course was well maintained and is a technical course with breathtaking views very nice course. Tough but fun course, only gripe I have is no carts in parking lot and some of the signage course could use more direction as to navigate throughout.
