In summary

The Deltona Club is praised for its challenging and well-designed layout, featuring significant elevation changes and strategically placed sand bunkers, which many find enjoyable and unique for Florida. The staff is frequently highlighted as friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, some visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, particularly the condition of the fairways and rough, which they feel detracts from the otherwise promising potential of the course.

If i could leave a 0 star review i would 1000% do so. Worst course I’ve ever played in Florida. To start off $55 for this course?? They must be insane, Rio pinar and 20 other courses cost just as much if not less. Course looks like it’s abandoned, EVERY SINGLE ROUGH IS 2+ feet high. There are sticker plants in every single bunker why are the weeds around bunkers 2 feet high?? Every single green is in absolute terrible condition, even if you land on the fairway you’ll lose ur ball this course is an absolute trash can pictures are false advertisement, no cart girl, 1970’s driving range absolu…

I played 9 holes here and found the course to be a good challenge. The greens were in good shape, though the rough could definitely use some work. Big shout out to Ian on the staff who was very helpful and professional. Overall, a solid experience and I will be back again.

Really liked it here. People are super friendly and the course is challenging even though there is no water. Lots of sand and it's very fine sand so it makes it a different experience getting out of it. Oh, and very affordable!

The positives of the course was the staff, the potential of the layout and the greens were not bad. To the negative was the condition of the fairways. I have been in Florida all week on a business trip and iching to play golf. This was the 3rd time on a course and the first full round. Teed off as a single and the second to go at 0700 following 2 regulars that didn't care to pair up. The first two holes I thought I'd be pushing them all day but then they zoomed and I didn't see them again. On hole 4, I started taking multiple shots and didn't see any groups behind me even though the tee sheet…

Such a great piece of property, very unique and well worth playing. This course is built on, for Florida, very hilly ground making it a one of a kind course. The flip side of that is the place has seriously gone downhill in the past decade. Once well maintained, the fairways have become weedy, sparse, and bumpy due to a lack of basic care. The rough around the greens is full of crab grass and will soon become unplayable, again due to a lack of basic maintenance. The greens have grass but the lack of basic care is showing there too. I doubt they've been properly maintained (aeration and regula…

I took my son to the driving range to hit some balls, we ended up playing nine holes, he had the best time ever and couldn't stop talking about it. The staff was amazing everyone with friendly and the courses in great shape.

By far the worst course I’ve played before. Course looks like it hasn’t had any touch up or been maintained for years. If you play here being 100 balls expect to lose every single one even when you land on the fairway.

Hidden gem. One of the best architectural courses in Central Florida. This is not Augusta National. It is an affordable well maintained FUN golf course. Give it a try.

Early 7:34 tee time. We flew through the front nine in 1 hour 35 minutes. Caught a group on 12, still finished in 3 hours 45 minutes. Course is is goid shape. Grass on the tees, fairways decent, and greens were good overall. Worth the early morning drive. Affordable.

With some care this could be an amazing course. On the positive side the layout and elevation changes makes this a really interesting and fun course to play. On the negative side the fairways and tee boxes are in poor condition. The greens though were in pretty good condition. The course has no water hazards at all, so I'm thinking that's why the fairways don't see any water as its too expensive to use city water to water them. The course though does have a ton of sand hazards, it almost feels like a desert course as you need to be accurate with your shots.

The Deltona Club is a great golf course that our group visits about 6-7 times annually. The layout is exceptionally well-designed, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The staff is always very friendly. One of the standout features of the course is the strategic placement of the sand bunkers. While there isn't any water hazards to speak of, the numerous bunkers scattered throughout the fairways and greens demand precise shot-making and course management. This adds an extra layer of difficulty that keeps even the most seasoned golfers on their toes. T…

This club has a great layout. The course as a whole is great. Older reviews on course condition is unfounded. I recommend Deltona club to everyone.
