In summary

Sycamore Valley Golf Course is widely appreciated for its well-maintained, affordable, and beginner-friendly 9-hole layout, making it ideal for practicing short game skills. The staff is frequently noted for their friendliness, and the course is described as a convenient option for quick play. While the course is generally well-received, some mention the slow pace of play due to the high number of beginners and the absence of par 5 holes.

This is a great Golf course for the first-timer! Play is typically slow because of the many beginners. But that's perfect for people worried about slowing a typical course down. My wife and I go with our toddler and we don't feel out of place at all. All of the "par fours" are reachable, but it can be tricky making up and down if you miss the very small greens. It's a great place to take beginners!

Great little course. Good place to practice your short game. Goid place to walk the corse. Very inexpensive. No par 5's at all. Quick play, pretty course, cheaper beer, nice staff. Greens are small and tricky, not fast at all. Fun morning or afternoon. 9 holes.

Excellent small golf course. Teaches you quickly that shortgame is a major part of golf. Perfect course no matter what skill level you have. Short game is key to low scores, and this course will make you master your short game.

DECENT, short 9 hole course that's mildly challenging. Nice staff. The green on 7 is tricky. No chance to use your fairway drivers. I play it often with pals. Walk, don't bother with a cart.

Very different "crowd" of people. The course itself isn't crountry club amazing but it is a good course to get a quality quick 9 holes. Pars are 4,4,3,3,4,4,3,4,4.

Very nice course. Nothing brown here. Greens could be mowed a little shorter or rolled but course is in good shape. Everyone is very nice there.
