My friend brought me here as a guest to play a round of golf. I was very impressed with the course conditions as well as the course layout. The course was a lot more difficult than I am used to, which is a good thing. The staff was very friendly. After the round we went and ate half price burgers in the restaurant. They were very flavorful. What a great experience.

This course has one of the best layouts. If you’re solely looking for a course with a great layout then look no further because this by far takes the cake for having one of the best layouts in all of Virginia

Attended a ladies club annual business meeting & luncheon here on a Saturday morning in early August. Plenty of parking. Lovely club house inside and out. Wheelchair accessible throughout. Sound equipment worked well. Hosts provided servers for water at tables. Side tables for coffee & tea. White table cloths every table. We had over 100 ladies present, so there were some close quarters, but we only got up for restroom breaks and buffet lunch pickup in from outer room. We had my niece’s wedding reception at the Springfield Golf and Country Club. The venue is beautiful and overlooks the golf course. Everyone had such a great time and commented on how beautiful the place was and that the food was absolutely delicious! The staff really made everything easy and they were very accommodating to any of our needs. I would highly recommend them for any event, but especially weddings.

We had our wedding reception at SGCC last month and it was everything we hoped it would be - and then some! The food was delicious and got rave reviews from our guests, the ballroom was beautiful, and the servers and bartenders took good care of us throughout the night. Jody, Director of Banquets and Events, was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, knows this business inside and out, and is very detail-oriented. Knowing we were in her very capable hands allowed us to thoroughly enjoy the evening. We highly recommend Jody and the staff at SGCC!

I basically grew up here in the early to late 1980's. My family absolutely loved being a member of this country club. I personally would ride my bicycle from Orange Hunt Estates all the way to SGCC for swim team practice. Then spend all day at the pool until it closed. It was a wonderful place to hang out. Learned how to play tennis and play golf. I cannot remember the wonderful woman's name who was an amazing fixture at the country club dining room. Attended a friend's wedding at this place and got to admit I love the grand room! Superb view of the course: wide open field of greeneries. More sights of flowers and decors such as ponds would give the view even more excitements. Food are decent from what I tasted at the wedding. Staff are friendly enough. Would definitely consider this place for my own wedding, or recommend it to others.

Was there for a meeting and the room was set up will in advance. Bright, clean, great view. Golf shop staff was also very welcoming. I walked in and was greeted with a smile and introduction. They all made me feel as I belonged there. Well done.
