In summary

Spring Valley Golf Club receives high praise for its beautiful and well-maintained course, unique layout, and welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly, family-run staff. Visitors appreciate the challenging nature of the course, the character of the clubhouse, and the quality of the home-cooked meals offered. However, some guests have experienced slow pace of play during peak times and found certain holes to be particularly challenging for average golfers.

Owners are such nice people and made us feel like family. A great family owned golf course. Course is amazing and beautiful. Great home cooked food.

The golf course was beautiful and very unique. Greens were in great shape and somewhat difficult. Clubhouse and bar area have a lot of great character and makes it a wonderful experience.

Golfed Spring Valley today. 9/30/2025. The tee boxes and fairways and greens were so plush. The course is in beautiful shape. Bob gave us a 18 hole free pass because our weather was so bad in June when we stayed at the resort. Today we made up for all the rain then. Today had gorgeous weather ! Thanks Spring Valley crew !!!

Only went here to play golf but will definitely be returning to try the food! From what I could see, everything looked really good! The course is absolutely awesome! Except the ravines! They are hungry and ate a bunch of my golf balls! 😂🤣😂🤣

Spring Valley is a family owned/operated public golf course and lodge. Bob and Barb (brother and sister)are wonderful hosts and make you feel like you're one of their own. The golf package is very reasonable and includes home cooked meals and beautiful views throughout the golf course. The course can be challenging at times and you definitely want a cart due to the hills but a better golf adventure in Western PA you won't find.

Boy has this place grown! Improvements to the course as well as the club house. Through it all the owners and staff have been accommodating and courteous. Great atmosphere for both golf and having a cold one and a bite to eat!

While the course is in excellent condition and very challenging, we will not return. We were on the course 5 hours( 2 people) and still hadn't completed our round. We surrendered after hole 16. The pace was horrible, waiting every hole to tee off, then waiting on mostly every hole to hit a second shot. We realize it was Father's Day but it was impossible to get any momentum while playing at this pace.

It would be hard to find a match for the amazing level of hospitality you will receive here. You are truly treated like family. We stayed and played for a long weekend and enjoyed every minute. The meals provided were also excellent. It’s nice to see a group of people care so much about the experience they are providing.
