What People Say

In summary

Spring River Golf Course is frequently praised for its challenging layout, friendly staff, and affordability, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. Many appreciate the course's condition, especially considering the reasonable green fees, although some note that certain areas like the greens and tee boxes could use improvement. While the course is generally well-regarded, some golfers have experienced issues with slow pace of play and lack of enforcement regarding group sizes.

The course looked good some of the greens was a little rough but I’ve seen worse. The pro shop was very basic hopefully you don’t need anything pass markers and balls. The golf carts ran great and wasn’t tore up. I would definitely recommend playing for a public course. The cost was equivalent to the quality of the course

Beginner On this lovely course, understanding that it's the hardest course as well. But I enjoy. the area. The people are great and have an awesome time. Every time I go getting my family involved. And friends and the company I work for do lots of tournaments with them. I Will always recommend this course. And I have played the other courses already being new to this game. I'm still learning, but I'm enjoying it. And want to succeed in the game of Golf.

You get what you pay for... 18 holes with a cart for $33 each seemed like a good deal. And the course was interesting but quite rough. No water in the ball washers, directions to the next hold didn't exist, patchy greens, but really nice pro shop staff. It was worth $33.

Played when over 100 degrees. The course is in very good shape for extreme temperatures. If you like trees and a fun track this is a great bargain. Greens were fine and semi fast. The carts were modern with GPS tracking !! Staff was accommodating. We'll done Roswell golf.

The staff is super nice. That’s about as far as I can complement this course. I have played 50+ rounds here. I have seen carts in the bunkers. 25 handicap hacks waiting for the green to clear on a par 5 so they can advance the ball 30 yards. Lines of 4 groups backed up waiting to tee off on 10. Groups of 5 being waved on to 10 while our twosome is walking off the green on 9. Tee times are rarely, (if ever) adhered to. Pace of play is PAINFULLY slow. Greens are even slower, and covered in fungus and scarred from aeration. All that said, this place has TONS of potential. It’s a neat track, but…

Friendly staff. Great course. It can be challenging, but had fun. Always a good golf ⛳️ day at Nancy Lopez 😀 Golf Course in Roswell. There is a golf course in my neighborhood I prefer this one. I drive 🚗 an hour to get here. Check it out. Prices are reasonable too.

This place has really fallen off over the last few years since the old pro left for the Country Club course. The tee boxes are bare ground, the greens are nothing but patches, and the hours now are whenever they decide they want to close. Nobody acts like they care around there and it shows which is sad cause it use to be such a nice place to play.

This is 1 amazing municipal course. Challenging and fun. U won't loose too many balls cause it's wide open, but u better bring your putter cause the greens r tough. The green fees are super affordable for what u experience.

Pretty good little municipal course. Fairly wide open so losing balls isnt an issue. Challenging greens. Teeboxes were a bit furryi Not a bad option for the price. I'll be coming back to Roswell frequently and I will be bringing my sticks with me. Good job Roswell.
