What People Say

In summary

The New Mexico Military Institute Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, friendly and accommodating staff, and overall value for money. The course layout is appreciated for being challenging yet forgiving, with wide fairways and a good pace of play. However, some visitors have raised concerns about the condition of the fairways, presence of gopher holes, and occasional water management issues.

Top class pro shop with great staff and great facilities. Course is awesome too, greens run fast, sand is thick, and the fairways wide. Not hard but must be an intelligent golfer to shoot low

Nmmi Golf Course never disappoints. Love the environment and how it is set up! Greens can be fast, but also slow depending on rain or watering from maintenance. Great course all around though !

The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Great price for a round of golf. Wide open course which is very forgiving. I would give 5 stars but the gopher holes put a damper on my game.

Fairways were rough and bumpy. A lot of mounds of grass and low spots of Bermuda that was still dormant. Greens were in great shape. A bit fast much better than the fairways.

Beautiful greens and amazing workers. Grass is a little brown in the spots less hit so not much to worry about on that part. Staff is friendly and course is decently priced!

The greens are Amazing, but you have to go to the dentist when your done because the gopher holes are beyond rediculous and everywhere. So when your driving your cart, it's like hitting pot hole after pot hole and it's endless. It's really sad, because it's not a bad course. I won't play there for that reason. Go Broncos

Have been playing here for decades(when down visiting my family). Always in great condition, challenging without beating you up. Pace of play can’t be beat and the staff is incredibly friendly.

It's overpriced for the condition of the course I understand it's a state-run course it's time to put some money into this golf course and fix it up if you're going to charge premium prices for your golf course make it worth the experience to be there.
