Fast greens and some tough pin placements made for a challenging round, but I had the pleasure of golfing with a gentleman who knows the course well, which made a big difference. There are definitely a few birdie holes be sure to take advantage of them when you can. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will absolutely play this course again on my next trip.

The course played great, we had a ton of fun. Loving the great weather on a Nov 10th tee time. Unfortunately, we were bothered by the Marshall on the 2nd hole!!! And several times after, which ruined the round for all of us. He then proceeded to bother us another 8 times. We played the first 9 (sent us off of 10 which is a poor choice already by the club) in 2 hours and 2 minutes. We then went into the clubhouse after 9 to buy food and drinks because they didn’t have a cart girl, and officially finished in 2 hours 7 minutes. To be clear, we went to spend money at the club. We then also caught…

My "home" course. Live right down the street and play here a bunch. Great practice facilities, pro shop employees are nice. Rod the starter is always such a nice guy and Jim in the cart barn is great. Pricey, but lucky to have such a quality muni course 2 mins from the house.

We had 4 groups played at Saddle Rock for the first time yesterday and we experienced something we've not ever experienced before playing in Colorado. At hole one we were asked to show our reciepts as if we were shopping at Walmart or Costco. I felt this was classless for a premium golf course. The Marshal also made us skip 2 holes! So for the price ($90) of 18 holes we were only allowed to play 16 holes. One of our group was playing slower than pace, however, I've played at several courses in Colorado and this is the first time any Marshal made us skip holes, other places would ask us to play…

Played here for the first time in December. Definitely challenging, especially for someone who's a beginner. E hours the course, the folks at the clubhouse were super friendly and, unlike many reviewers, did not have any issues with the marshals.

I've never played there. I really enjoyed the track. Ill play there again. We used the driving range and the putting green and both were in good shape, for this time of year. Also, the course was cart path only. It looks to be walker friendly and many were out walking the course. The couple we played with got breakfast burritos at the turn that they enjoyed. And the staff at check in were very friendly. We had a great day for playing on December 12th in Colorado. YAY!

Nice track and normally in great condition... We were 20 mins ahead of pace. Every 2 holes there was a ranger on the hole ensuring we kept pace. While they were grateful for the pace we were keeping it was pretty obnoxious dealing with them over and over and over again. If yall are so worried about pace maybe put a few more moments between your tee times so people aren't waiting on every shot.

I’ve really enjoyed my rounds out here. Really hard to beat a course of this quality and aesthetics for the price. Any complaints don’t come from real golfers or come from people who are only used to non-public courses. For a course open to the public, it really doesn’t get any better than this. Denver golf at it’s finest especially if you enjoy a hilly walk.

Above average course. Good condition and well taken care of. We played July 4th and they celebrated in grand style. This picture is from hole 5 decorated for the holiday.

Doug the marshall was pretty cool but everybody else was rude and had no respect. Got kicked off for no reason and something we had no idea about. Last time i’ll be playing there.

Really solid public course. First time playing it and thought it was very well maintained and got lucky being paired with two very nice playing partners. Only reason for 4/5 stars is an interaction with an alleged "marshall" who was playing in the group in front of us and caused slow play the entire afternoon. Sad the rest of the reviews about the marshalls/starters are somewhat true. The rest of the staff was very friendly though. Would come back and play again.

Learned how to golf here as a child from Mike Fingler. Played high school golf at grandview, and I have played this course 100+ times. The course is one of the best in Denver and the people that currently run the place will make you question if you will ever come back and play. 92$ for a “new” cart with no club washer, no cooler, no GPS, and no windshield. Expect to be treated like you've never played golf or driven a cart before. I haven't seen a kid working here in years. Tells you everything you need to know about the culture.
