In summary

Rustic Glen Golf Course receives praise for its well-maintained fairways and greens, scenic layout with rolling hills, and friendly staff. The course offers a fun and moderately challenging experience, particularly for medium to lower handicap players, with a good mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s. However, some visitors have reported issues with slow pace of play, particularly during league nights and outings, and occasional dissatisfaction with staff service and course conditions.

Nice course. Dry conditions today. Fairways are watered well but firm fast greens.

Played today with 3 foursomes and we were placed behind a golf outing without advance notice. This was after driving 45 miles to play. Play was so slow that we ended up quitting with 3 Holes to play. You couldn’t get any golf rhythm, nor momentum. No food available for an after round meal, due to the Buffet Lunch for the golf outing. It’s too bad, because Rustic Glen is a well maintained & fun golf course, but today left a bad impression.

the course has fairly fast greens but not unfair. There isn’t really any rough per say and the course is pretty wide open!!! for better players, it’s probably not your kind of course but for medium to lower handicap players, this is a very fun course. I really enjoy it. I played from the senior tees that makes it very fair test moderately priced and excellent driving range and putting green usually later on the weekends it’s not too crowded. Definitely recommend this golf course.

2 blind holes are just frustrating and not necessary. They cause lots of confusion/frustration and you just don't want to hurt anyone and no one uses the bell. Overall grass was kept up nice. Early Monday deal is a mad house and very slow... wait to go till after noon if you don't like a slow game with constant pressure behind you. Besides those things it's a decent course.

Course is good of what me and a buddy played. It was all fine till we got to the back nine. I understand that courses have league nights, no problem we have worked around them before. However, there was no ranger to keep the pace of play moving. We caught the league players on hole 12. It was a group of 4 then a group of 2 and then us. It took us 20 minutes to tee off then other 10 to complete the hole. 13 was the same way. And at 14 we waited 25 minutes to tee off. I get that new golfers are here and playing I'm only been golfing a year but the group of 4 was taking so long to tee off. Our gr…

Poor Service, Poor Conditions, and No Respect for Members I came to Rustic Glen genuinely considering a $1,000 membership — and they practically had it, all they had to do was not blow it. But from the very first interaction, the experience has been disappointing. Tim first received me when I went into ask about memberships. Tim acted as if answering basic questions was a burden — eye-rolling and short responses included. He was very rude and unpleasant to deal with. Later that week, i thought well maybe Tim had a bad day…And decided to go back in. I had a 6:30 PM tee time and went in to pay…

Nice course and they treat their patrons right. If your concerned about Covid-19 they sanitize their carts and most patrons are wearing masks.

Haven't been here since 2009 or so but made it out for 18 today and was very impressed with the quality of the course. Fairways and Greens were very lush and properly maintained. Course plays much tougher than one might think for the area and the rolling hills & undulated greens were hard but very fun. #15 reminded us of how Pinehurst is playing for the Open this weekend where a great shot rolled right back off the green then the chip did the same. We had a great foursome and managed a couple of 80's with one guy making eagle on the long par 5 to finish the round. Great job Rustic Glen!

I’ve golfed a lot of courses and never was I paired up with a random player being forced to share a cart. Course was soaked on the first decent day to golf. Putting practice green was muddy and very slow and bumpy. Golf cart fleet was old and dirty due to swamp like conditions, they weren’t being rinsed after use either. Greens were patchy and impossible to read, felt like I was putting on the fair way at times. No cart paths or ball wash stations so keep that in mind. Facilities were very outdated and cryptic. Was not approached by cart to purchase any drinks mid round and the driving range w…

Nice course! Well maintained. Difficult while still fun. The greens are both fast and slow. A good mix between par 3's, 4's, and 5's. We played they for the Billy outting, we will be playing both for fun and charity in the future.
