In summary

Brookside Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordable rates, and enjoyable layout that caters to players of all skill levels. The course is generally well-maintained, though some visitors note areas needing attention, such as the fairways and cart paths. While the atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, a few guests have experienced issues with slow pace of play and occasional equipment malfunctions.

This is a muni that can be a lot of fun. Some challenging holes on this relatively short course. We like to walk this course

Had a great time with the Sunday morning crew. They made us feel welcome. Nice little course. Not really long but there is still plenty of trouble you can get into. Greens were a little slow. Will definitely play again.

I wanted to take my two grandsons to a driving range. Very very casual atmosphere for two very amateur kids. The pro-shop even allowed me to borrow a set of clubs. They hit a large bucket of balls each and the the guys in the pro-shop were very engaging with my two grandsons. I even purchased 3 more rounds of 2 large buckets. Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Love this course. Laid back community course, nestled in trees. Good value. Not a pristine course but pretty good shape. Several unique holes.

Worst course in SE Michigan. Both carts in our foursome stopped working before the end of the round. The fairways were not fairways as you can see by the picture. Random mud holes throughout the course. Greens are burned out. This appears to be a course that is slowly going out of business due to mismanagement.

Very challenging course. The course was in great shape when I played there. If I lived closer I would play here more often.

It’s a great, affordable place to casually try some new play styles out and not take things too seriously. But there wasn’t any supervision for the pace of play and we ended up being behind a group of 8! The grounds were pretty spotty and lacking some TLC.
