Roseland Golf Course

Overall, I had a good experience. The grass on the greens is longer than most, good for beginners. There are more blind tee shots than I expected, download a GPS prior to arriving, there's not much service there. Tee boxes are nothing to brag about. But it's a fun track and good shots get rewarded.

First time golfing was here. Perfect place for beginners. Very laid back. The friend who brought me pointed out many improvements they keep making. Look out for poison ivy along the woods. Obviously not the nicest place but it's a five star place for what it is and for the price.

Very poorly maintained. Tee boxes lacked grass on many of them and the putting greens had many bare patches and divots throughout. Ground was poorly watered and was as hard as a rock.

It's a nice little course. Played it twice already. First time the greens weren't cut tight but after all the rain I was just glad to play. Played it again last week got a few pars. Greens were a lot better. I will go back again.

Beware of Rates! Published 2023 rates on their website are last years prices. Walked 18 holes today Wednesday (6-14-23) and was charged $30 (told NO Senior Rates). Website says $24. The clubhouse attendant says "I can't help you, the website is wrong." So, they raised the rates 25% from last year and have made no real improvements. Oh, they charge $16 or $20 for a cart (can't tell which prices are correct on website). I choose to walk because I feel that $20 per person (two per cart) is too much for a cart. Rates lie. Was going to be charged $110 for 2 with a cart, on a course that is less then par with maintenance. Place use to be cheap and fun now its neither. Plus $61 for the front 9 and $52 up the other side. I feel like a bumm

I mean what a turnaround from when I started playing here 2 years ago green are about 10x better than my first time here. Kudos to the crew for the upgrade

This golf course is amazing if I could rate it 10/10 I would. It is well kept the owner is very nice and humble. There are lots of nice people.

My favorite local course because it is not too long (not built for those 300-yard drive golfers) and it has a driving range - a huge help before teeing off. Also it is extremely affordable. Conditions are usually very good. Most of the staff is friendly (raises a glass to Annie).

New management has picked up the pieces where someone else left off 2 years ago. The course is improving weekly! Couldn't ask for nicer people to run the show!

Unfortunately the heavy rains washed out a bridge on Wednesday! In spite of the torrential downpour the course was in good condition! Losing a couple of greens to the wet, humid conditions! Always a fun course to play! Been going there now for 50 years!
