In summary

Rockland Lake State Park Golf Club is praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, offering a challenging layout with scenic views and friendly staff. Many appreciate the value for money, especially during twilight hours. However, some visitors report issues with slow play, course conditions like wet fairways and traps, and dissatisfaction with the golf carts and driving range management.

I last played the Championship Course about eight years ago. The course was a good condition. My only complaint was that too many golfers do not repair their ball marks on the greens. The staff there are great and helpful. This time of year, you will enjoy the all of the changes of the leaves and the great views.

Beautiful place. Came on a bad weather day, so walking only (no carts) but still no complaints. Will definitely be back! Thank you for a nice time and a fun Tuesday evening.

I had a great time with nice conditions of courses. There are lots of dynamic, challenging courses. If you're better than average, this course is worth coming to play.

Beautiful course and well maintained with very friendly staff. However, slow play is very common here., maybe a GPS tracking system will help.

Beautifully maintained, challenging greens, very nice staff. Only thing missing is a bigger clubhouse for after round lunch/drinks. If you don’t care about that then this place is 5 stars

Hidden gem. Beautiful, well-maintained course that offers nice variety, lush landscapes, great views and a full 18 that's challenging and fun. Shocking how nice this course is considering we only paid $18 for twighlight golf (18). Greens and fairways are immaculate. Some holes are pretty unforgiving and narrow so expect to lose some balls 😀 we also spotted quite a few 🦌. Overall, very pleased!

This course keeps getting better every time I go back . We help our mini tournament there. It's a nice layout. And the greens were in great shape.

Course in very good shape. It was very very humid the day we played. Very nice staff. Watch out for the yellow jackets on the 13/15th fairways.

One of my favorites. It's a rather easy yet not too difficult coueses. The grass isn't in the best condition, but it's not too crowded, and the stunning scenery on every hill is a highlight.

The course is in much better shape than years ago. If you want a challenge this is your place from the distances to the slopes to the undulating quick greens. I can't think of another public course in the area (even down through northern NJ) that is this difficult to score on, maybe Crystal Springs.
