In summary

Riverwatch Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained course conditions, and challenging layout that integrates seamlessly with the natural landscape. The staff and service are generally well-regarded, with particular commendation for the clubhouse dining experience. Great golf course and worth every penny they charge. Grounds crew does a great job with upkeep and the staff was very friendly. I talked to the woman at the pro shop for awhile after my round. I got there at 8am and nobody else teed off until 9am, so I basically had the place to myself. Is it a bit pricey? Yeah. You pay for what you get though and that's a great golf course! I'll be back soon!

A MUST STOP We went in yesterday and we're BLOWN AWAY!! The service is on point 👉 The food VERY 👍 The atmosphere GORGEOUS Can't wait to play a round on Tuesday. Very excited to have a top notch golf course and restaurant only 20mins from the house. I've been back since my first visit to play golf. A MUST PLAY GOLF COURSE ⛳️ So beautiful WOW

We had lunch at the clubhouse prior to golfing. The service was fantastic. We had sushi that was really good. The Mac n Cheese balls were fantastic. The burgers were charred and over cooked but they have the best crinkle fries I’ve had. The golf course is expensive. It was $125 per person and they don’t have any amenities. We golfed on a Saturday afternoon and it felt like we were the only ones on the course. Fairways and greens were in good shape and there is some beautiful views. They also don’t accept any cash. Everything is card only and they charge an automatic 18% gratuity and that inclu…

Considering the recent freezing weather the course was in fantastic condition. The staff and facilities are tremendous. The fairways were in very good condition and the greens were perfect and fast. Definitely making this course a must play.

Riverwatch sits perched high above Tennessee’s largest body of water, Center Hill Lake. The course is cut from the natural landscape and the holes tend to follow the contours of the land. The rolling hillsides and picturesque plateaus paint a picture on each hole and do a great job of melding golf and nature. No two holes are alike, many of the holes are tree-lined, with sharp drop-offs if you push your shot beyond the tree line. Dramatic elevation changes, testing doglegs, well-manicured Zoysia fairways, and well-placed bunkers lead to Bentgrass greens. Bunkers have been strategically placed…

Great menu. Everything was on point, except the oysters. Crack, dip in water, open, dip again, then separate the muscle. Im not paying retail for grit and shell in my mouth boy. Bland too. Coming off like new money on Friday. Other than that this place is money.

Some of their greens are mostly sand. The picture shows probably the worst one. If I was on staff, I would have mentioned this to anyone booking a tee time. Our group was particularly upset when the Course Manager confronted us during our round and hassled us about our pace of play. River Watch has their own way of handling the customer experience.

Beautifully maintained with amazing views. The routing was a little weird. The 9th hole ended roughly a half mile from the club house, so it was a trek to get any food between 9's, and 18 plays away from the clubhouse. Also no restrooms on the course. No gps or pictures of the holes on the scorecard so it was your best guess as where to play to. I had a skycaddie but it had Riverwatch on it which was the previous name of the course and a different routing, so it was useless to use. The only reason it gets 3 stars is for how well the course is maintained and the views

I’ve played 50 courses in the last 3 years. That being said, there’s no way in hell this course should be the same price as Sequoya National. There’s plenty of good golf in the area, no point over paying for a mediocre course.

This course was a hidden gem just a few years ago. You had to drive out of your way to get there, but the price was fair and the views stunning. Staying overnight in their condos was a reasonable $90 for accommodations in the country. Fast forward a couple of years, new ownership has tanked any credibility this course had. Rates tripled, overnight lodging rates are more than tripled (for the exact same accommodations). Totally tone deaf to the region around them. Unfortunate what golf is becoming in TN.

no question it is and was always a very nice course. But just like the last owners but only worse now you have priced yourself out of your market. It’s not a destination golf area. You’d be better off charging a more modest greens fee and getting far more play. Hundred dollars plus for a round is way out of this market. and good luck making you go at it if you wanna be private. you are too far away from a major city . I won’t be coming back. I can play really nice courses twice for what you charge.
