Was berated by the head golf guy (Doug firth). Falsely accused of driving through the tee box, and swore at profusely by Doug. I will take my business elsewhere. This club will never see me again after the way I was treated and blatantly lied too.

Overpriced rip off! Came here from out of town to try their course and it was atrocious! Their green fees are 65 dollars… let me repeat that SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS!… for some reason the lady at the clubhouse Brenda or Linda or something singled our group out and saw fit to come tell us we couldn’t have coolers when we hadn’t even started golfing yet and had no intention of taking the coolers out with us. Told her we wouldn’t take them out and she said “oh no the damage is already done” then said “you’re lucky this phone is ringing” and answered a call and drove off. Figured it was whatever and onl…

Where do I begin...to start off to play 18 holes you're out $65. This does not sound bad until you consider the condition of the course. Throughout the course, you have to drive around numerous areas which have flooded due to their poor irrigation. You'd think that with their irrigation the grass would be properly wartered. As pictured, the grass is dry and dead. The greens are horrific, the bunkers are so dry they can't be considered as having sand. If the price for the terrible field of play was not enough, the people working the clubhouse were less than courteous. The older female was rude,…

Great lil muni course. Came here with my nephew from out of state. We both loved the Desert 9. Surprised how green everything was for late July. Jane took great care of us from club rental to checkin, managing our tee time for less pressure and pace of play updates. Keep her happy; she was lovely to work with all day.

Powell is one of my favorite municipal courses to play in Wyoming. The greens have lots of movement and the length is challenging. The back 9 holes are a parkland course with fairly tight fairways and new redesigned greens. # 18 requires a lengthy drive to clear the wasteland. The front 9 is the newer portion of the course and winds its way over varied terrain, The signature hole is a lovely par 3 with a distance that varies between 190 yards to 130 yards and a drop of about 140 yards to a green protected by a pond. A lovely hole. The course is well maintained, the staff are great to deal with…

Powell Golf Course is a gem! Stop out and buy a bucket of balls for the driving range. Or hit the amazing course, it is an 18-hole public course with two distinct nines. The club house is a great place to sit out on the deck and enjoy a cold soda or beer. They have couple’s night, men’s league, junior camps, and many other options. The Powell Golf Course also offers a variety of tournaments you can play in to support local groups and organizations. Do not forget to stop in the pro-shop where they have lots of amazing items. Highly recommended.

I just spent the weekend at the Powell Golf Club for the WGA Three Man tournament. A great course for all levels of players, great design, and the course was in great shape. The facility and staff were the best. The one poor review of this course is unjustified and should be removed. Thanks, Powell Golf Club.
