In summary

Pleasant Valley Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordability, and suitability for beginners and casual golfers, offering a mix of par 3 and executive courses. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as worn greens and tee boxes, and the driving range being out of service. Despite these concerns, it remains a popular choice for those seeking a relaxed golfing experience.

Our company (River Valley Restoration) is performing a full roof replacement on the clubhouse 06-22-21. It will be businesses as usual throughout the day.

I’ve golfed here since I was just 10 years old. I wasn’t very good but it got me to love the sport and was always a good time to bond with my dad. The par 3 course is straight forward with minimal hazards and bunkers. There is also a good range of length from 105 yards up to 250. The other side of the course, the “Executive” is a mixed bag of par 3’s and 4’s but none of the holes exceed 400 yards. It’s a great course for beginners or those just looking to take it easy. The driving range was down for quite some time and it may even still be today. There is a practice green to putt on behind the…

It's a very decent golf course, but it's confusing. It's billed as a par 3, which it isn't. There aren't 9 consecutive par 3 holes. There aren't 18 either. Strange advertising aside, though, I played the back 9 today. The course was not too difficult. I'm not very good so I appreciate wide open fairways and basically no rough. I had fun. What was less fun was walking up to the window, as the sign on the door said must be done, only to be told to come inside to pay for my round. The staff were very friendly, but take down the inaccurate sign. To summarize, it's a fun and not too challenging cou…

Fun little course. If you can drive it 300 yards you can go for the green on nine out of ten par fours. Greens are pretty beat up on some holes but most are fine and all are playable. Clubhouse staff is polite and the soda machines are only a buck fifty :) Would rate a five if the greens were cleaned up a little.

Son plays golf here. They have a nice course and nice employees too. The road traffic is really loud by the putting green, driving range and certain holes though. It would be nice to somehow have a sound barrier between the whole golf course and the road. Overall great place to play golf.

Hit the range here the other day. I am fine with th irons only restriction, but the pads at each station are damaged and quite worn down. You may want to inspect each station before setting up. On a minor note, the barriers between each range station are a bit flimsy and bag stands were absent. I had to lay my clubs down in the grass as the wind picked up. Again, a minor inconvenience. Other than that, the course seemed nice at a glance and the woman at the clubhouse was very kind and helpful. I will return to play the 9 hole par 3 course and the other 18 very soon.

2 star golf course, 1 star experience. Executive course with an additional par 3 course. Longest hole on the executive course is less than 400 yards. Beat up tee boxes, really beat up, slow, shaggy greens. Seems like nobody has fixed any ball marks all summer long. Basically no cart paths. Crab grass and clover everywhere. The 'fairways are just lower cut rough. And the rough was so high that if you missed the fairway you weren't going to find your ball. Don't get me wrong, it's an ok course to go to to tune your game or a place to go if you're a beginner but don't expect much. There also us…

Good cheap place to golf. Pretty laid back and easy going. Not the greatest kept place but I’m not Tiger Woods, so it doesn’t really matter. It’s their last year in business and I’m sad to see them go. One of my favorite after work places to play. Better get it in while you can.

glad Mike has kept the course open, none of us probably realize what all is involved in operating and upkeeping a golf course and i am sure Mike and the gang keep very busy trying to upkeep the course. My wife just took up golf a couple years ago so this course is perfect as they offer a 9-hole par 3 course that is very reasonable at $10/each for 18-holes walking. Hope eventually they get the net replaced on the driving range so golfers can hit drivers and fairway woods ... there is not another driving range even close to Lancaster since the West Par driving range on Rt 33 closed. Keep up the…

Good beginners course or place to get a fast round in. Played 36 holes on the "executive" course in a little more than 5 hours. I believe this is their last season though, I heard that it was sold and houses are being built there next year

Inexpensive and decent for the money. Are there better greens in Fairfield county? Sure. Are the fairways a bit short and dry? Yes. But it's like 11 bucks to walk 9 so it's not bad.

Great little course tucked behind a few windy(wine-dy) country roads. Bring your short game and challenge yourself to sticking the pins on your approach shots if you can hit the middle of the greens with your driver! Forgiving course so dont be afraid to rip it...drive for show and put for dough defines this course...white tails run around this course, we came across 2 around 830pm as I birdied number 9 with a 9iron, center flag I was 15 ft on right side, slight right to left putt, pulled back by Babby Ben and pulled the trigger and trusted the putt and the course ....rest is history....I only…
