Olde Hickory Golf and Country Club

Great course beautifully laid out, course very well maintained, excellent practice facility. Greens perfect and run true. If I could only hit a put!! Need permission or sponsorship by member to play.

I played Olde Hickory Golf Club in Fort Myers, FL this week using my SWF PGA GolfPass ($50). It’s a private club only open to the public between May-October using the GolfPass. My overall experience was very good as this course is both scenic and playable for mid-to-high handicappers. The course is in very good shape (May 24, 2022) but I am concerned about the use of artificial green dye used to keep the grass looking healthy (see pics). Very enjoyable round of golf, course in great shape, played in less than 4 hours, play moved along well. Stayed for lunch in their restaurant, grouper sandwich was very good, great service at the bar.

Good shape, nice fairways and greens. You must like a Pete Dye design or you will be disappointed in the layout. Not real long with several tees to pick from. Nice facility and staff.

I was very lucky that I know a person that lives on the golf course and was able to play this amazing private golf course. The Assistant Pro helped me out so much by booking me tee times at other courses because they were going to be closed for a week due to maintenance. This golf course is very solid. Solid greens, great layout, and a course that you can be rewarding but at the same time can cause issues if not hit in the right spots. If you can somehow get on I'd recommend. Great practice facilities as well!

Great Clubhouse and Course. The renovations done a while ago made a huge impact. The bar is great for hanging out and watching sports.

Really nice fun golf course. Nice layout except number 10. First time to play and had no clue on that one. Not well marked. Otherwise nice people and a beautiful club. Pretty hard but fair. Would love to play again.

Great private club open to reciprocals in the off season. Made me feel very welcome. Course in prestine condition. Pace of play under 4 hours. Layout was great, course very scenic, and I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful course but still challenging with SIX sets of tees. Could play it long or a more manageable distance to try different clubs. I had never seen ice towels before, but they hit the spot just after the turn on this hot August day.

We just had our wedding at Olde Hickory 2/15/2020 and it went perfectly! Bryan, Chef Werner, and the rest of the staff did an amazing job of set up, planning, and thought of things to get me through the wedding day that I hadn't even thought of. Most Brides can't say that their wedding was better than they had ever imagined, but I'm lucky enough to say that it was everything and more!
