In summary

Norwood Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, beautiful layout, and friendly staff, making it an enjoyable destination for golfers of varying skill levels. The course features challenging holes with significant elevation changes and offers reasonable pricing for green fees and amenities. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the bunkers and cart paths, as well as inconsistencies in cart availability for non-members.

This is a really nice golf course. I don't play golf much, but it was really fun. We played the full 18 and it was great. Every hole was pretty nice! Staff is friendly, clubhouse has good snacks and drinks, the carts are nice, and the grounds are well maintained. Highly recommend going here.

[Note first that my ratings of golf courses are relative to other courses in the area, which is another way of saying, relative to the course that I am able to play.] This course is a (surprising) gem in the country! The layout, overall, is very challenging. For the average hacker (like me), driver off the tee is best for most holes. If you can bomb it 300+ yards, then you have some interesting decisions to make from the tee. The front nine, especially, is beautiful. Tons of elevation changes, some as much as 50 feet. (My cart had trouble going straight up twice.) Almost no houses can be se…

I went there with a group of 4 and was told no carts and as I am waiting for my group I see people getting on carts and playing. I even seen a group of 4 people with 4 carts in the group when I asked they said only members can use a cart everyone else had to walk. As we are seeing off one of the workers made it a point to tell us keep our golf bags away from the greens. I found it odd because the members that were allowed carts were driving 2 feet away from the green. Management is a joke their and will never go back.

Great time play there. Staff was very nice. Course was In good shape. The rolling hills and greens make it very challenging. Make the drive to Maple Grove GC , in Huntington IN. , it's worth it !!

Current owners and staff have worked hard over the past few years to complete improvements to the course and facilities. The course is in good shape and enjoyable to play. Staff members are courteous and professional. Try it out and you'll enjoy your round of golf.

The staff is so nice and accommodating. The greens and fairways are in great shape! My wife and I have enjoyed this year! 2023 season wasn’t as good. Bunkers need a lot of work. The coupons that gave 16 nine holes or 8 eighteen holes was higher and could be used only for 18 holes.

Will not be back. They haven’t finished making the course, the paths were not finished and how can I play real golf without knowing where to drive my cart? Somebody in a yellow golf cart with a woman and a man? Saying they owned the course? Had a cigarette in their hand while commenting on proper golf etiquette… hmm I give the course well tbh don’t waste your time on the passport. Did not have fun and could not golf in peace. I hope they can finish making the cart paths. Would not recommend. Girl who worked the desk, her name was Sam, was polite and I hope she gets a raise and takes over t…

Really enjoy playing here. Love the view and the course. Great staff. All around a great place to play. My daughter is a first year golfer management and other players have been very patient. Excellent experience, my familys favorite place to play and practice at the range.

This place is great to golf at and also the driving range is fairly cheap for the amount of balls you get to hit

Played it for first time in 32 years today. Not what it was in 1990, but far better than it was a few years ago. Honestly probably some of the best rolling greens I've putted on this year! A little seeding and a little preemergent in the future and this place could be back as one of the top courses in north central Indiana. The layout is still one of the best. Forgot how much longer the back 9 played. Anyways, the staff was super friendly and I will make a point in getting back soon. Played 18, shot 79. Enjoyed it so much I played another 9. Qualified for regionals in HS here twice, so I guess…

20 + years since last time I played here. Other than 1st green, all greens were some of best I played on all year! Great carts and layout memorable. Already booked another outing for this year
