Monarch Dunes Golf Club

The Monarch Dunes Golf Club and resort is gorgeous. They staff the club with some of the most amazing people you will meet. There is an excellent view of the golf course from inside the restaurant featuring a beautiful waterfall pouring into a refreshing lake surrounded by the lush green of the course. We were served by Amy and she was able to single handedly take care of our entire group of more than 12 people all by herself while maintaining a very friendly and helpful demeanor. Thank you so much for hosting our authors group. We really enjoyed our time!

Monarch Dunes Golf Club offers an excellent golfing experience. The greens are in great shape and roll true, and the fairways are top-notch. I played from the tips and found the course both challenging and rewarding. The practice facilities are impressive as well, though the overall experience is a bit on the pricey side. Still, it’s a fantastic spot for a quality round.

Solid track off the beaten path. Worth the stop over if you’re on the way up or down the central coast. Some great holes nestled into the neighborhood. Course is in fantastic condition as of Fall 2024. Some really cool views w the dunes on some holes.

Incredible course. Def my fav in the area. I will put this up w pasatiempo and the less expensive Monterrey but still great courses like bayonet or black horse. I had such a good time.

Great golf course! Played today 2/19/21 Greens were running 9.5, little bumpy but rolled pretty well. Bunkers were great! Tee boxes and fairways were excellent!! Course was tight and challenging. Great place to play if you like a tough track 👍👍 staff was excellent 🙂

Best Golf Club on the Central Coast !! Greens are phenomenal. Super fast and professionally sound. Both Old course and Challenge course are great . Been coming here since it opened. Kudos to the entire Monarch Dunes Staff for maintaining such a beautiful place to Golf.

What a beautiful course! Just minutes from ocean in a quaint little community. Pro shop staff were great and the restaurant bar was on point. Good service and a good time! Aerial was our bartender on the restaurant deck and she was wonderful!

Well worth the money. A good challenge and scenic to boot. Very well maintained.

The front nine is very good and challenging. The back nine is shorter and easier. The dunes are a significant part of the layout. There are quite many water hazards. The greens were excellent. The staff was friendly.

Fun round for a charity tournament. Can get windy but the challenge is worth it. I like the layout and how each hole is completely different from the others.

Excellent facility with a very good practice area. The course offers some very challenging holes. Restaurant offers a wide selection of meal choices.

Gorgeous courses, clean carts, friendly staff, and great weather. After 14 years of not playing a game of golf, a friend took me here and convinced me to play with him. I fell in love with the game of golf all over again and I insisted that we play again 2 days later. Thank you, Monarch Dunes, for being part of reigniting a hobby.
