Misty Creek Country Club

Such an incredible course laid out in the old Florida country. All the homes are in the front and when you get to the course you can grip and rip it! The entire staff was friendly and accommodating and the course was in impeccable condition.

Call center/booking services are handled overseas and communication is very poor. I called for 2 tee times for 6 people. 3 and 3. Back to back tee times. Quite the process for getting a tee time but none the less everything seemed fine when I hung up. I called back to cancel my tee times for unforeseen circumstances and it was quite the process again. About a 7 minute phone call. They only had me down for a 3 some in 1 group and a 1 some in the other group. Could have been a big deal but thank god I canceled the tee time. Make sure you clarify number of golfers and times when booking.

Loved our day and experience here. Pro shop attendant was professional and kind. Starter was great to get us right on the course. Let us play as a twosome , ended up joining another couple as the round went on. With the mature tree lined fairways and nature forests, it felt like playing in a little jungle. We seen so much wild life while playing. Course was in great shape! Would love to return!

Truly enjoyed the improvements to the course. Fairways, tees, traps and greens are all in great shape. Nice job cleaning up the "deep rough" as well! Very friendly staff makes it even more enjoyable.

Very nice course. Plenty of woods and water, wildlife is abundant. There were a few different sets of deer enjoying the course as well. The course was in good condition, wet because of the weather, but the greens are in good shape. They have a very large putting green, as well as a driving range. Both are also in very good shape. The people who work there are very friendly, from the guy who got me my cart to the girl in the pro shop who told me about the course. I would definitely recommend this course, it is well worth the money.

Course was in great shape and a lot of fun to play. One of the rangers was extremely rude when asking a player in our party to move their cart off the grass. The player was definitely in the wrong, and quickly corrected the mistake and apologized. The ranger then turns to me (who has the cart parked correctly on the path), and tells me that he hopes we're not parking like this all over the course. If someone makes a mistake, correct them. But don't chastise everyone in the group for one person's mistake, especially when we're apologetic and it was our first warning. It left a sour taste in ev…

Love this course. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The starter let me play solo, which made my day. Course is in great condition. Overall, a challenging track with slick greens. I will definitely go back!

After hearing they spent 4 million in improvements I thought it would be a great place to play, also heard a lot of good things about the course. Sadly the improvements were not that good greens are all new which I can understand with improvements. However the rest of the course Tee box’s, fairways and the area around the green was in poor shape. I say all this with the price point of the round $130. Should be more like $50-$75 at most. The staff is polite and helpful, doing what they can with a club house and course that is way past its time for a full make over.

I was looking for twilight golf and found Misty and I'm so happy I booked here. The course is great....the layout is excellent and challenging. My wife was a ride-along (no issues which is awesome) and was able to see all the wildlife (yep, even gators) up close....very cool!! The staff, especially Suskia, were on point and treated us like members..... Without a doubt....I highly recommend Misty....challenging golf and staff that cares about your experience....10/10!!

I have lived in Sarasota 17 years and played Misty many, many times over that time. A friend suggested we play it since it was just renovated. We played today. Amazing conditions. All of the grass is new, fairways and greens. Very impressed with the renovation. We had a great day and will play there again soon.

I played Misty Creek two times since they opened the the course. the grounds are very nice. My problem is ,they don't space you out. So it takes 5 hours to play 18 holes. I will not be playing there again its too frustrating.

Grand Re-Opening Saturday November 1st. Beautiful renovations completed and the course looks fantastic.
