In summary

Meadowood Golf Club is appreciated for its affordable pricing and suitability for beginners, with some visitors noting the friendly staff and decent course conditions for the price. However, there are significant concerns about the maintenance of the course, with reports of patchy fairways and unplayable holes. Additionally, several reviews highlight issues with staff behavior, slow pace of play, and inadequate facilities, such as insufficient golf carts and poor communication about course conditions.

First time golfing here got cussed out by an Off Duty employee for skipping them due to pace of play and drove around a Par 5. He was very hostile and intoxicated and unwelcoming. Course condition was good for price point. All other golfers very well spirited as well as guys in the pro shop.

One of your worker likes to golf and follow people and harass them while they play. Pretty damn gross, especially for a weathered down cheap course that you have to tee up on mats on. That wouldn’t have been enough for a rating until the worker/owner in the store was incredibly rude also. Learn respect.

Fourth of July morning was my first visit to Meadowwood and will definitely not be my last. The golf course is fantastic to play. The staff is amazing and took great care of us and we had an issue with the scheduling error and the manager Daryl handled it and made things right. I will be back and you need to tell your friends about this place. Awesome 9 holes to start the Fourth of July.

I think I’d rather golf in the Arizona desert than here. Somehow the tee box and fairway are patchy and dry but as soon as I get to the green it’s water logged and it hasn’t rained in 3 weeks

It's like a hole in the wall bar....gets the job done but you might feel dirty afterwards lol. The distances on some of the tee boxes are not even close. #5 in particular says 455 yds From the blues and I Almost killed a guy when my 280 yd drive landed on the green From the blind tee shot. Use an app or your own range finder. Fore!!!

First time golfing here. The cart roads were pretty bad, not to mention we started 30 minutes or so from our original designated tee time. Was some trash left on some holes. Including a pretty big pot hole on hole 8 o believe in between the fairway and the geeen.

I am a beginner golfer and enjoyed going to this course as I learn to play. However, during my most recent experience I paid for 9 holes but was only able to play 8 as one hole was closed. When confronting the office staff about this issue they were aggressive and told us to never come back. Seemed like poor customer service when running a business. You definitely get what you pay for here.

They don’t have tee times and they don’t have enough carts so be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes on every tee box. We played 4 holes in two hours before we gave up and left. The only saving grace is that it’s cheap and an easy course for beginners. Overall, if you’re looking to play 18 on the weekend plan for about 6 hours at least.

Fantastic pricing for seniors and all around golfers. Staff is super friendly, they sanitize all golf carts... Course is in relatively good shape for summer arid conditions. Course is great for bringing out young golfers and their family to enjoy together as most golfers are more mature and friendly. The ONLY reason I don't give it a five is because it's only a nine hole course...but as far as a nice, family orientated nine hole course it's a five star.

Okay at best. Very good for beginners like myself. Very annoying how the grounds crew was mowing at every tee spot I drove at for 3 holes. Real annoying with someone sitting behind you on a zero turn waiting for you to get done driving. Just a tip - mow before or after you close NOT while people are playing.

Course is not kept up. Weeds everywhere, including tee boxes and fairways. There were two holes under construction during our round, one of them completely unplayable. We were not told about this prior to our round, which felt dishonest. When confronting the manager about this he didn't apologize, he didn't offer an explanation, he just rolled his eyes and told us to leave and not come back. Very disappointing because I used to enjoy this course as a cheap alternative to big expensive 18 hole courses.

Wish I could give this place a no star review. Dirt fairways, no bunkers and awful pace of play. Very short course but took 5.5 hours to play 18 holes. 4-some in front of us had 4 carts and only two people had clubs. Only one guy working. 30 dollars if you don't book on golf now?! Would not pay more than 10 dollars for 18 and a cart. There is a par 3 course in florence that blows this place out of the water. If they are charging that much the course should be in better shape. There are even dirt spots on the greens! Spend the extra 10 dollars and go to a real course!
