In summary

McCormick Woods Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained course, and challenging layout, offering scenic views and wildlife sightings. The staff is often described as friendly and accommodating, and the amenities, including the practice facilities and clubhouse, receive positive feedback. However, some visitors note issues with the pace of play, particularly on busy days, and mention that certain areas, like the tee boxes, could be better maintained.

We had a good time. Course was a ghost town until it wasn’t at the 9th hole. An elderly man with his lady and dog decided to play the back 9 and proceeded to steal my husband’s ball and took his time searching for his balls! Annoying but the course was decent. Layout was great conditions could have been better. Perfect weather!

Course was in great condition today. Greens were real slow, but guessing maybe they didn’t cut the greens because of how wet it was. Pro shop is friendly and accommodating. Always a great chance of seeing deer. Not an easy course, and easy to lose balls even if your shots aren’t hit that poorly so definitely a great challenge from tee to green.

Great value and well maintained even in winter. Was not soggy. Challenging course with tricky holes and undulating greens and some long par 3s. Definitely worth the drive from Seattle!

A good course winding through a housing development. An okay driving range, nice chipping, and putting greens. The food court at the turn is nice and clubhouse has a good restaurant and can host events. Down side is, a busy day in the course for a Sunday evening, and they sent golfers off the back nine in front of us. On hole eleven had a family walking up and a group of ladies walking down the course. Don’t know what is happening. Overall a slow round

McCormick Woods is always a fun challenging track. They have a great practice facility with a driving range, chipping green and putting green. We were getting good rollout on the fairways, and the greens were in good shape. We even saw a few deer in our round. We will be back!

Beautiful course. Great views of Mt. Rainier. Prices are reasonable. Greens were in great shape, and fairly challenging. Would definitely go back.

McCormick Woods is a pretty nice golf course. Overall it's well maintained, both on the course and off the course. Cart paths are easy and smooth, sand traps are usually in good shape, greens are evenly cut and tee boxes are seeded often. The staff here are nice, especially in the snack house at the turn. The driving range is a cool setup a couple hundred feet from the parking lot. Good experience here and not too pricey to play, just takes a bit to get to, but would play more here for sure.

Great course as always, only a few spots were mushy, Greens were amazingly fast and challenging - even being the first of March! Can't wait to shoot another Round!

I photographed a wedding here (M. Laine Photography) last fall and it was a beautiful setting. Since it rained all day, the ceremony and reception were held indoors, but I can't wait to come back and take advantage of their gorgeous landscaping. I loved the string lights in the reception area, and it was large enough to host a good sized wedding. The staff was very helpful and nice as well.

Great Course, well maintained. Challenging holes with some great views. You will airways see a deer or 20.

This is a beautiful course in the mix with the many in the area. McCormick is a one way track in a way that none of the holes are next to one another. Walkable but the distances between holes will have you wanting a power cart if not for the sake of making the course shorter than what it already is but to keep pace if you're playing with riders. Challenging with elevation, hazards, and out of bound areas on both sides. The yardage book might help in this, available at the pro shop for a few dollars. Now the cons... Because of the distances between holes, naturally the walking golfers will tak…
