In summary

Marion Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly and helpful staff, and enjoyable amenities, including dining and event hosting. The club's layout is appreciated for its challenge and variety, appealing to both beginners and experienced golfers. However, some visitors find the pricing for golf and amenities to be high compared to other options, and there are occasional criticisms of service and atmosphere.

Went out for public golf on a Wednesday and had a fantastic experience. Pro shop staff were extremely polite and helpful. The course even lets you take the cart home to drop off your clubs and picks the cart up for you at your house. I’m still waiting for the cart to be picked up but it has only been a day so they may have been short staffed. Pool looked very refreshing as well. Guards had navy tubes which looked very nice and fit the country club vibe. Will definitely be back!

Stopped by on a Monday to golf and was pleasantly surprised by the customer service in the pro shop. The young man behind the counter said to be Brayden was very helpful and kind, he took his AirPods out as soon as I walked in. He also seemed to be in good shape as if he had been working out despite having a full plate of chicken fingers in front of him. Only complaint I would have for the pro shop is the employes don't wear hats. The pool also looked very nice as I walked past, looked to have a well designed diving board!

Course is alright but the price is a joke compared to public courses that are nicer. Paid $77 for 18 and a 6 pack of beer and the guy behind the counter was rude.

Had a wonderful experience dining at the Marion Country Club. If you go there, do not leave without having the fried green beans. To say they were awesome would still not be a strong enough description. All six of us gave the green beans two thumbs up. We also all agreed that the dinners were wonderful and the portions were extremely generous. Josh, the bartender/waiter, was super friendly and very attentive. Since I am from out of state, I cannot be a regular. However, when I get back to Marion, it will be my first stop!

A great asset for Marion. My dinner was good. Not fine dining, but solid standard fare, backing up a fine golf course. Great gathering place. Wish I could get there more often. Drink prices are fair. If you want wine, ask for a fresh opening of a new bottle.

We recently needed to arrange a family gathering in Marion for about 30 people on very short notice. Thankfully we called the Marion Country Club and spoke with Anna, the event coordinator. With her help we were able to arrange a luncheon quickly and affordably. She was helpful, flexible, friendly, and accommodating. It was a stressful situation for our family and her thoughtful attention to detail was greatly appreciated. The facility is well kept, clean, and pleasant. The food was good. We had never been there before and had no idea what to expect. In the end, we were more than satisfied wit…

This place is so boring and it's courses are so mediocre for it's price point. The bar is the only good thing thing but the service sucked and it's full of old people so there's no real hype and the sports shop is also expensive. The pool sucks and the security here is also bad it's like fake cameras and there is no hot tub.

Before Dale Osborne took over, I had been servicing the country club for 4 years. I had been trying to contact him for like six months, and he was avoiding me. Which that is totally fine. Instead of calling me and let me know that you guys found another company I show up and he tells me on the spot. Oh, we found another company. That is not good business. But do you really know why he got fired from the jail. He didn’t leave voluntary. FACTS
