In summary

Maple Moor Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways and greens, friendly staff, and scenic layout, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience, particularly with its tree-lined holes and smaller greens that demand accuracy. However, some players have noted issues with slow pace of play, limited snack amenities, and occasional management concerns, particularly regarding ranger interactions and cart availability.

I grew up playing here and just had my first round back in 20 years. The course is in noticeably better shape than I remember — fairways are solid and well maintained. It still demands accuracy with tight, tree-lined holes. Greens run on the slower side but roll true, so you need to be firm with your putts. Overall, it’s a fair but demanding track that rewards smart play.

Course was decent. On the short side but nice layout. The intersection and halfway house area is a bit of a shooting gallery. Some of the tee boxes were in really bad shape. Barely no grass. Overall though, 4 out of 5 stars

Maple Moor Golf Course is pretty much exactly what you want from a solid Westchester muni. The conditioning is reliable tee to green—nothing flashy, but the fairways are decent and the greens roll truer than you’d expect for the price point. It’s a shorter layout, so if you’re a single-digit, you’re hitting a lot of irons and wedges off tees, which turns it into more of a positional test than a power game. What stood out is how tight it can feel in spots. Tree-lined holes force you to pick targets, and if you get lazy, you’re punching out. Greens are on the smaller side, so approach shots mat…

Maple Moor is another wonderful (affordable) and scenic Westchester course. The course is challenging enough for all levels of play and extremely well kept. Playing this late in the season, you would expect an abundance of leaves. We found the fairways to be clear and really enjoyable to play on. Plenty of parking and restaurant. Will definitely be back next season. The 2023-Course is in nice shape, with the greens feeling a bit more challenging. Always a good time here.

I played this course for the very first time and I felt like I’ve played this course forever—and it was only made possible by the extraordinary service of Tom and his crew! I couldn’t tell you how much it means and how important it is for a newbie in a new course to be treated as a regular! Top marks for the service! Same goes for the course, as it was kept in amazing shape for a late autumn/early winter round in December! The pro shop is well stocked, and the service, again, is superb, to say the least! As a golfer who plays nearly two-to-three times a week in and around NYC, I made a comm…

Nice course, but had I known the carts needed to be back by 6 I wouldn't have paid for 18 holes at 2:30. Had some slow groups in front of us and only made it through 13. Feel like the people working the check in could have mentioned that we prob wont get close to 18 holes. Still. Great time.

This place was great - Greens are in great shape and the track is my fave in Westchester. No driving range, but the pro shop is stacked and the restaurant and staff are excellent - Steak and Arugula salad was on point10/10! Shot an 82 with 2 birdies! Maple Moor is worth a tour!🤩🤩🏌🏾‍♀️⛳️

I’ve never left a review but felt I had to after today. Went to this course on a weekday afternoon after work and out of nowhere in the middle of the round there were 2 carts in front of us with 6 kids hanging off the carts of each. They call it “junior camp” and apparently they can play wherever they want on the course. My friend and I wanted to return to the pro shop after sitting around for so long and of course there was no ranger in site and nobody answering the phones. Can’t believe the course actually allows this. I don’t plan on coming back after this, never seen anything like it on a…

Extremely well manicured, well cared for course. The Westchester County courses are always a treat to play on. The staff was personable, it was a great day, and the practice areas were solid. No driving range for those looking to totally warm up, so keep that in mind!

I like the Maple Moor golf course for a few reasons. Tee times are often available, and affordable. The staff and starter are super-nice and flexible. Fairways are large, good for beginners and intermediate golfers. Renovations are currently underway in multiple areas in July/August 2019 affecting a few fairways. Middle of the golf season is disappointing but it appears some flooding damaged certain areas and they are aggressively fixing drainage issues. Patio at the bar and grill is popular.

Had a 12:32 tee time on a Thursday, waited on 4 groups to tee off on the first hole. My buddy was the first of the four of us to arrive and was told to “wait 10 minutes because we ran out of carts” 😭😭😭 Checked the time while we’re standing on the third tee box and it was already 2 pm. Should’ve been through AT LEAST 5 at that point. Called the ranger three times through 8 holes. Asked the pro shop if we could get a partial refund thru 9 holes and was hit with a “I don’t know what to tell you”. We decided to call it after 9 holes because we were looking at a 7 hour round. Solid 11/10 rage bait
