In summary

Liverpool Golf & Public Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, effective drainage, and challenging layout, which includes unique holes and a fun practice area. The course is generally in good condition, though some visitors have noted issues with greens and bunkers. While many appreciate the friendly staff, there are recurring complaints about certain staff members' attitudes and management of course traffic, which can affect the overall experience.

Great course that dries better than any other public course in CNY. Fun layout and awesome practice area with a grass tee. They made some improvements to the club house in recent years and continue to invest in the property. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. This is a nice place to play a round of golf!

Fun track. Lots of trees to keep you honest off the tee. Challenging par 3s. Some of the best drainage around which keeps them open for play even during playable days in the winter. Did I mention the 🌲 s?

I can't imagine a less friendly golf course. The course is in decent shape, but the greens are slowish with too many unrepaired ball marks. They seriously act like they are doing you a favor letting you play the course.

The course seems to be bullet proof in terms of the amount of play it sustains it is always in good shape. Bunkers need sand badly. Has great little kids course your little beginner and you can practice your short game.

The ONLY nice staff during our visit was the friendly lady working at the bar. The one gentleman when we walked in to pay got an attitude when asked which side we were starting on as his league board said they were playing back nine and group I went with (8 guys) wanted to play 18. They were playing the front so we started front also. Doing a scramble to make our round quick and not hold people up (wasn’t busy at all anyway). Not even to first green yet and same guy came out and told us we need to split up because high school team was coming for practice. We split up and then 4 holes later the…

This is an acceptable course layout and upkeep-wise, but the management does not handle course traffic well at all. They will give you tee times that directly interfere with tournaments and events. Be prepared for long waits.

Played last weekend and the course is in poor shape. Tee boxes are all dug up with divots. The fairways are almost like rough. The greens needed watering badly and were shaggy. Balls bounced on the greens and the greens were very slow. Carts are getting long in the tooth. I know it's April but many of the issues are carryovers from the previous year. I'd rate a 3 out of 10.

Lousy staff. Particularly the (appropriately named) man called Dick. He was a jerk to us from the time we walked into the shop as if we ruined his day by making him get up from his chair. When we returned the cart 1.5 hrs before the stated closing time he was angry at us for keeping him there late - the sun wasn’t even down yet. It’s a fine course but Dick is rude with a short fuse.

The building is pretty dated, but I found the friendliest bar tender/waitress when I went in search of water. I was only at the club with the high school golf team. I did not golf.

Great outing with the fam. The Tiger Links course was a blast for me and my kids! (all three under 13) Nice work Liverpool.

The course is in pretty good shape. Nice tall trees lining the fairways. Greens roll very nice.
