In summary

Liberty Hills Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained course, and friendly, professional staff. The course offers a variety of challenging holes with a mix of hilly and flat terrain, complemented by a clubhouse with a full bar and dining options. However, some visitors have reported issues with tee time management and pace of play, which can detract from the overall experience.

A beautiful gem nested in the Ohio hills south of Bellefontaine. Great looking course with a wonderful team of people keeping it looking that way. Everyone’s very focused on providing an excellent experience for all who play there, or stop in for lunch/dinner and drinks.

This place...AMAZING! The best course I played in Ohio this year! The recent negative reviews, I don't understand, the fairway & greens are well kept & the spacing between each group is perfect! They have a full bar inside to take a shot or order some drinks for the course! We ate after & they offer some amazing food options at decent prices. They have gluten options as well and 2 seating decks, 3 if you include sitting at the bar! I would post every hole if I could, my jaw dropped at the scenes and service! Lots of sun & shade in between!

What a beautiful place! Big beautiful trees on the front full of wildlife, like the resident redtail hawk nest on between #4 & #6. The back is more open and you may see, if you look, deer, turkey, pheasant, mink, turtles and other critters in the beautiful running creeks and ponds. If you take the time to look and listen. Did I mention there's golf! Beautiful course suitable for all ages and skill levels. Please observe proper golf course etiquette, play fast, fix your divots and ball mark, keep carts a respectful distance from tees and greens, etc. Golf 101. It gets busy sometimes so be pati…

Great course! We just played the back nine, but the date night deal can't be beat. I have no complaints, and I can't wait to go again!

Up from Florida and played course 6/11. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are immaculate. Greens are fast and sloppy. Well worth the price. Probably under priced for the condition. I will play again when in the area. Well done Liberty Hills staff. Shawn

Course was in pretty good shape and if it wasn’t for other factors, I would say it was a very good value. I don’t understand why the guy at the pro shop was aggressively trying to get me to talk badly about our current president without any prompting. In addition, he told us to go straight out, but it seems that there was another group teeing off on the whites while we were teeing off on the blacks. There was no starter. Lastly, we found two or three groups in front of us at the turn that were never there before and we took no break at the turn. We had to sit for over 15 minutes.

Course was well maintained. Nice pro shop and bar/restaurant. While the course plays short, the greens definitely increase the difficulty.

The course itself wasn't bad, but the management of tee times was god awful. We were eventually refunded the back nine due to the course championship running behind, but not without manager trying to refund coupons and telling our group unrealistic wait times for the championship to play. Not worth the $55 for 18 in my opinion.

It must be said: these google positive "reviewers" must be home-grown. Contrarily, this public golf course has (1) poorly maintained fairways and greens , (2) bunkers filled with silt and stone; not sand, (3) extremely un-level, left-leaning tee boxes, and (4) neglected and re-assigned "environmental areas" due to inadequate management-attention.

Played a mid February round here and have to say, the course was in very good shape. Front nine (original nine holes) is a little more hilly and narrow and has its difficult holes. Back nine is much more open and has a modern golf course feel. Pro shop employee was very nice. Will be coming back during the prime season.
