In summary

Lake View Golf Club is highly praised for its beautifully maintained and challenging course, with immaculate greens and a top-notch practice area. The staff is frequently described as friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall welcoming atmosphere. While the club excels in hosting events like weddings and tournaments, there was a notable complaint about a booking mishap that affected a planned golf trip. Additionally, some visitors mentioned limited bar selections and occasional service delays during busy times.

Possibly the prettiest golf course for 50 miles in any direction. The other private golf courses in Erie are also in good shape, but the conditions on the course at Lake View are unmatched. It's so well manicured you could probably play barefoot. Fun clubhouse with a great vibe, too. Great place for friends to hang out. Worth the drive!

Booked tee times for 20 guys on April 30 for Sep 7 - this was to conclude a 3 day tournament. Received email confirmation as well as a personal assurance email from the pro that they "would 100p not cancel". Fast forward to August 27 we decided to call just to check in case. Lo and behold they have no awareness of our tee times and have booked a tournament that day for their members which they apparently booked sometime in May (noone ever informed us). They asked to see the confirmation email which we provided and basically said there was nothing he could do other then offer to get us on a cou…

We had my daughter's September wedding reception here. Megan the coordinator was so accommodating and easy to work with. The food was delicious and portions were huge. The staff was great. We were so very glad we chose the Lake View Country Club and would do it again in a heartbeat.

This is the best golf course in the greater Erie area. If a great course, with well-maintained and fast greens, and a best-in-class short-range practice area are important to you, this is the club. Lakeview does not offer a pool or tennis. This is strictly a golf club. Located east of Erie in North East, PA, it’s easy to reach via I-90 at Route 89S.

Went for dinner which was in the Grill Room because of wedding set up and rehearsal dinner in the main dining room. Casual setting, but you still had the nice views of the golf course. Food was good and served fairly quickly after ordering, considering it was a Friday night and fairly busy. The service was a bit off, but apparently the wait staff was working out of both kitchens and I only saw 2 servers. The only other issue was they didn't have what I wanted from the bar which leads me to believe availability of brands is fairly limited. That was surprising and disappointing.

A diamond in the rough in the Erie area. Course is always in great condition. People in the Erie area are missing the boat by not joining this club. Family friendly atmosphere and great food. If I didn’t live out of state this would be my Country Club.

I went for a wedding and the reception afterwards. Everything Lakeview did was five stars. Arranging for the wedding party to get to the perfect spot overlooking the lake for the wedding. Transportation to and from. The reception. And the food was outstanding; beyond five stars.

Attended the Grape Harvest Golf Tournament. You don't have to be a member to attend the tournament. The weather wasn't the greatest, cold and rainy, but the course was in wonderful shape. The people who organized this tournament did a fantastic job. You have to be a member to play there daily. I don't know the cost of that.

One of the best in the Erie area. Always beautifully maintained throughout. Diving range is nice, and the short game range is even better, it's huge. The food is pretty tasty as well!
