In summary

Lake Ridge Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability, welcoming atmosphere, and suitability for beginners and those looking to improve their short game. The course layout, particularly the par 3 design, is favored for practice, and the staff is generally seen as friendly, though there have been some negative experiences with customer service. However, some visitors express concerns about the maintenance of the greens and bunkers, noting that course conditions could benefit from improvement.

In two years, the superintendent Tony, and only one employee have brought this course back from disaster, so please help them by replacing divots and fixing ball marks. I love this 9 hole par 3. Yes, the greens can get rough, and the sand traps are grown over, but if you're a beginner, or you want to practice approach shots, wedges, chipping and putting, Lake Ridge is great. I have a Prince Wm. Modern Membership so a round costs $5. The practice nets are perfect for impact training, or to work on your swing with a camera without being distracted by the ball flight, or to just warm up.

Update, after covid I finally made it back to the area and got to play. Nice little par 3 course, if I live close I would play here on a regular basis. $15 for 9, if you live in Woodbridge get the monthly membership. I got here late so was unable to hit the course. I did get to hit a couple buckets of balls at closing. Nice stuff. I. Looking forward to being in the area again try the links

I came over to use the "driving range" which is basically a net 20-30ft from the pad. Pretty good if you just want to warm up but don't expect to gage distance or slice. At $2 a bucket of about 15 balls (credit card only), its a nice way to burn some excess time and lossen up.

I've played here for a few years and might've just played my last round here. The price has gone up and the quality has fallen off hard. For $20, it's just not worth it any more. The course is in terrible condition and the greens are covered in dirt and crab grass. This sucks, because I loved playing here but I don't think I can justify spending any more money here. A round is worth $5 at most now in my opinion.

Another great outing to the Lake Ridge golf course. The people are great, the course isn't crowded, everyone was wonderful... except my game, but that isn't their fault. We love this par 3 course.

Fun disc golf course. Not too busy, made an online tee time. I was running late and called the pro shop and they pushed it back for me. Two sets of baskets to give the nine hole loop some variety. Some baskets tucked into the treeline and some in the open. Had a good time, cost is a few bucks but not bad at all.

I liked this course. It wasn't busy at least the afternoon I went. Plenty of tall trees to get out the sun and alot of lakes and rivers throughout. I enjoyed an 18 hole, lost a few balls but would return again.

I just got back into playing after a pretty lengthy break from the game. This course is perfect getting my game back on track. It’s a par 3 course, great for working on your short game. $10 a month membership and $5 for 9 holes; you can’t beat it.

I love this place. Excellent for beginners and for those who wants to improve their short game. Well maintained and friendly staff. Price is very reasonable and you can even buy the season membership that gives you unlimited access. By the way, it is a par 3 course with only 2 long holes. It looks easy but it is difficult to finish it with a par. The practice area ("driving range", if we can call it like that) is not so good, it uses a net but may use it to warm up. The chipping and putting area is nice.

Had a 10:50 tee time for disc golf and we drove over an hour to get there only to be told when we arrived that they were closed due to “frost”. It was 45 degrees out. The lady I spoke with said they had no way to contact anyone to tell them they were closed. Oddly enough as I walked back to my car I received a text (at 10:51) saying our round was canceled. Management needs to update their policy on how to contact customers or include some kind of verbiage on their website asking people to call ahead of time to make sure they’re open before showing up for a prepaid round. I’ll update my revie…

Greens were in poor shape with the bunkers extremely poor. No sand just junk weeds and grasses. To make this a viable par 3 to practice using your irons, course condition and upkeep need drastic improvement.
