In summary

Lake Barton Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, challenging layout, and affordability, with many visitors enjoying the overall golfing experience. However, there are mixed opinions about the course's condition, with some noting issues like unkempt fairways and greens, as well as a significant mosquito problem that can affect the enjoyment of the game. Despite these concerns, the course remains a popular spot for both locals and visitors.

Course has really gone down hill. Thousands of leaves litter the fairway and greens (good luck finding your ball) the fairways and rough are not in good condition (dirt patches everywhere) the mosquitos are absolutely unbearable. Mosquito spray or not you will get eaten alive.

Course was in great shape! Staff member was super courteous and friendly. I really enjoyed my round, but I will say you better bring some bug spray or you will leave light headed due to the lack of blood left in your body after the mosquitoes have their way with you. Also, if aren't quite used to the humidity it might be a little moist feeling. 😉

Paid for 9 holes, then they let me play back 9free!!!! I was looking for my ball on the fairway on my cart, some local yocal came by and chewed me out for driving on the fairway. Good and the bad. I appreciate the free nine holes.
