In summary

La Follette Country Club is appreciated for its challenging nine-hole course, with well-maintained fairways and tee boxes, and a friendly, helpful staff. The club is also noted for its scenic setting, making it a popular choice for events like birthdays and weddings. However, some visitors have pointed out areas needing improvement, such as outdated facilities, maintenance issues with the cart paths and restrooms, and occasional booking mishaps.

Really fun 9 hole course. Not a fan of the small cemetery right behind the 2nd or 3rd green though... had to tip toe through it to find an errant approach shot. Otherwise, greens were decent, fairways were cut well and tee boxes had plenty of good grass to hit off of.

My husband and son love going here. However, they need to repave the cart path and do some maintenance at the rest stop/bathroom. Weed the flower beds take better care of the bathrooms they were not pleasant at all. Also, our golf cart I thought was going to kill over, it sounded horrible and the seats were rough shape. Overall as long as my husband and son are having fun and bonding that’s all that matters. We will be back!

This was a happening place in the 70's, 80's, and 90's but in my personal opinion it is becoming outdated. I went up to take some Drone Photos and it didn't appear to be in nearly the shape it was when I was a boy. Too bad they don't go in there and do a wide open overhaul on the place to make it more suitable to a country club lifestyle if that makes sense

This nine hole course offers challenging fairways and some well-designed greens. Some of the greens, particularly numbers 3, 5, and 8, are tucked away on a hill or around a serious dog leg. The course would get a 5 if two issues didn't detract from it: fairway numbers 5 and 6 are really sloped, and big trees produce too many leaves that remain on the ground, including fairways. Be prepared to lose balls in the fall and winter months.

Rented the pool for birthday. They had double booked it so no one paid and everyone had a great time. Great place for birthdays

Course in okay to good shape. The greens have suffered a bit in the last few months. But the tee boxes and fairways are in very good shape.

One of the more challenging courses I've played. Lots of hills going up and down can help both your long game and short game.

Was there as a guest and did not get to stay long because of a party, which is fine but we should have been told because it was not worth paying 7 dollars.
