The rude customer service could be explained with further investigation into both the pros and minors that run the clubhouses! Greens crew 100% respectful. Sus activities be happening there without proper supervision!

Hi, I don’t usually typically with reviews, but I had a really bad experience Tuesday at LA Nickell. I don’t want the same experience to happen to another person. Me and my three friends golfed Tuesday November 14th 2025 and it was easily the worst experience I’ve ever had at a golf course. It was my first time playing Nickell, we got to hole one at our 9:20 Tee time and waited on the twosome in front of us. An older gentleman came up to us asking what time our Tee time was. I told him and he said we were up next. I was confused why he wasn’t golfing but he explained to us he was the Marshall…

Great course with nice employees but it needs way more on course supervision. Can only make tee times for 4 but constantly 6somes that don’t let people play through. Drunk college kids, people sneaking on, etc. which I guess is what you’d expect from a public course. Impossible to get tee times in the morning even 6 days in advance sometimes! On the other end their drinks are very cheaply priced, the course is in decent shape for its low cost. Overall great golf experience for the prices if you come at the right time!

Haven't played golf in 4 years so this was my first time out in that long. Friendly staff, nice pro shop not a lot of items to choose from. Not a difficult course by any means, Course is well maintained. Not sure if they have a beverage cart that comes around since I was playing in a tournament. My only complaint is the driving range is next to hole 15, so if you hit an errant shot to the left look before going to get it. Will give this course another try.

Just letting everyone know, that when you book a tee time online separate from someone you know, you still do not get your own cart? When the cart is included in both separate tee times? But if you book separate with strangers in your tee time you get your own cart? 16$ for a cart just to ride along with my husband and his friend. Absolutely will not be back. Staff is rude and honestly not that nice of a course. The only reason the booking was under the same name is because their website glitched and charged him twice so my husband paid him cash……. No thanks LA nickel. Been riding with them…

Very nice public golf course. Fairly challenging. Fairways are mostly zoysia and are cut to ensure there is adequate grass beneath the ball. 🙂 The greens were good but did have a few bad spots. I recommend this course.

LA Nickell is a great golf course for anyone looking to get started. It’s a pretty wide open course which makes it harder to lose a ball, but there’s plenty of challenges to make you better. I love that it’s an affordable course and close to town!

Driving on Stadium Blvd and my windshield got hit by a golf ball. Apparently, golf courses do not have insurance or protocol for such instances. I will be contacting city hall and starting a petition to close Hole 12, it is a hazard to the general public.

spent my childhood summers playing this course. front 9 is a nice warm up for the much more challenging back 9. blue tees were a welcome addition. Would get 5 stars if they had a set of green tees for kids, as the reds are a bit challenging for the grade to middle schoolers
