In summary

Kings Ridge Golf Club receives praise for its scenic layout with elevation changes that add a unique challenge, as well as its friendly and helpful staff. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained fairways and greens, although some note that certain areas, like the rough and tee boxes, could use improvement. Common criticisms include the lack of a starter leading to potential delays and inconsistencies in course conditions, particularly on the executive course.

My thoughts on the course. Had to sit in line for 25 minutes to get in through the gate. Got to the clubhouse and you have to park quite always away. The clubhouse pretty much has nothing in it as far as merchandise goes. There is no starter or Marshalls so it’s this kind of come and go maybe pair up with someone or not, but everybody just heads to the first tea whenever they want. Now as far as the course goes. The best part about this course with this time of year was the fairways. They did have plenty of grass on them from overseading with Rye. The rough was just dead and dormant , which i…

Friday. Arrived about 30 minutes prior and they let us right out. No starter available and finding the Hole 1 via their signs was not easy. The course was wide open with cart path rules near tee box and greens. The low cost to play was justified based on the overall shape of the course. We had an enjoyable round. No ball washers or water on course but there was a m/f bathroom. They also had a snack barand outdoor seating, Enjoy!

Played the Ridge (par 3) course. Staff was EXCELLENT. The range is fine, facility is nice enough. The neighborhood that this course is in... A LITERAL DREAM! If the course was as well maintained as the lawns, trees, and homes in the community... this would be a $50+ par 3 course. The layout is AMAZING. The downfall is the groundskeeping. Was "in recovery conditions", but that is a stretch. 75% of greens were damaged, HALF extremely damaged. 2 holes were just simply UNPLAYABLE. I had more fun just driving the cart through the gorgeous community.

Visited and played Friday Feb 13th and its always a fun layout to play (a feel good course) and was very surprised to see how good conditions were on the Kings Course. Greens were the best we played all week, tee boxes were good and the fairways were green. Paid twice as much earlier in the week that could not even come close condition wise. Even the folks in the clubhouse were friendly, kind and willing to help out in anyway. Don't miss this place in your golf schedule, its worth a round! Thank You Kings Ridge for a good day!

We take a golf trip to the Orland area mid-February from northern indiana every year playing mostly different courses. This is the 2nd time for playing Kings Ridge. 4 years ago we had bad directions to the course and arrived with little time before our tee time. We were admonished by the starter because we weren't at the tee 10 minutes before our time. Today we were well ahead of schedule. Pro-shop personnel were cordial and friendly. I inquired about needing to produce the receipt to the starter and was told they would have our names. Turned out there was no starter and a group or 4 foursomes…

Exec course review. A solid 4 maybe 4.5. I enjoyed playing Kings Ridge. A short executive course with lots of elevation changes and a few nice par 4s. Conditions were very good with maybe the exception of some tee boxes. Greens were very nice for the price paid. Recommended for tuning up your short game. Peculiarities include that you need to check in at the main clubhouse and take your cart on about a 10 minute expedition through the neighborhood to get to the exec course. Obviously, not enough business to constantly staff the second clubhouse. There was also no starter so you can go when you…

First time playing Kings Ridge with my uncle. We enjoyed the change in elevation, the fairways and the greens were in great shape. Stephen is doing a great job at making this course top notch. Would definitely recommend this course. We look forward to playing here again.

Really enjoyed my round on the par 57 Ridge course! The greens are in great shape and provide a solid challenge. What stands out most is the landscape—the rolling hills are a refreshing change of pace from the typical flat terrain in Central Florida and add a fun layer of strategy to the game. Highly recommend and looking forward to my next round!

Played the executive course on 5/26 with some friends who don't play that often so i wanted something on the easier side of things for them. Staff was nice but the course was in bad shape, some of the worst greens and tee boxes I've seen. Fairways were in decent shape but those greens were almost unplayable. Giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because of how nice the staff were and the $30 price however $15-$20 sounds like a more reasonable price. Probably wont be back for a few months.

I Played the championship course here a few weeks ago and it was beautiful, truly enjoyed the entire course, very different from your average course with the elevation changes, I’m excited to be back !

There was one thing decent about this course and that was the layout, but the conditions were not great, bunkers had hard sand thats not real golf sand, patchy greens. We also had to wait on carts to go out and tryed to make us walk half a mile to the driving range when our tee time was in thirty minuets so when we got there wed just be heading back. When we got on the course we were constantly waiting behind a group for twenty minuets each hole, there was no ranger to tell them to hurry up. Horrible.
