What People Say

In summary

Kingham Prairie View Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained nine-hole layout, affordable pricing, and friendly atmosphere, making it an enjoyable spot for both beginners and more experienced golfers. The course offers a laid-back environment with a variety of hole difficulties, and many appreciate the welcoming staff and good value. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow play due to closely spaced tee times and occasional negative interactions with staff.

The course itself was decent. Some challenging holes and seemed to be in good shape. I gave it a 1 star for the staff that work there. The girl was very rude the minute we got there. She came running out and yelling because our UBER driver drove too far in where cars are not allowed. Maybe they should put a sign up stating this. We apologized for the driver and she just yelled and said it better not happen again. After we said we will never be back she tried to be all nice. When we got done a guy came out and made this family leave because they had a little kid. He was rude about that too. The…

Great 9 hole course for anyone, from beginners to above average players. The guy running the place is always ready to help and make you feel welcomed.

Solid nine hole course. Excellent service. Beers are inexpensive. Always fun when you get a Happy Gilmore opportunity.

Used to be my favorite course it wasn’t very expensive and wasn’t busy. Now they have the tee times too close together and it’s like 60 for two people to play 9 holes and it takes 3 hours on a okay course. Not worth it anymore.

This is an excellent public course with friendly staff and consistently good conditions. Definitely plan on slower play as it is typically busy.

Great little 9 hole course. Awesome price! A few drainage issues after a lot of rain, but that just meant more water hazards.

We will absolutely be back. We enjoy golfing smaller local courses, especially as it is generally a better experience for our kiddo to gain some practice in both etiquette and game play. This review includes 1) Summer Kid's Program Review and 2) Course Review. 1) Summer Kid Program: We did sign him up for lessons last summer ($50 for...2 weeks, I believe). Instructors were kind and attentive, especially given the overwhelming turnout of kids. It was a good refresher for our kiddo since he has taken smaller, almost 1:1 lessons before and is comfortable with the game; however, it is perfect for…

The service has been awful every time we have come here. We booked online and the slot had got messed up. Instead of taking care of this in a professional manner. They proceeded to be rude and have an awful attitude. Sucks that nothing can be handled in a professional manner. Every time we call to book it is the same way.

The course is in good shape. However my twosome was pared with slow players. We were hit into numerous times. When I spoke of it to the person at the front desk she basically chewed on me because we would not let anyone play through stating that this is the way golf is. I informed her and no uncertain terms that I had been playing golf longer than she had been alive do not like the way the front desk treated me. This is a continuing trend at this golf course do better!!

Great course for medium players like me. The web sites says open but gate still locked at 8:30am.

This is a great course. The staff is friendly and the prices are fantastic. I golfed 9 holes with a cart and it was only $19. Most other courses are more than that to walk 9 holes. While it may not prepare you for the US Open, it is a great place if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to enjoy a round. The carts are also excellently maintained and the grounds are kept quite nice.
