In summary

Jackson Valley Golf Club is widely praised for its beautiful scenery, well-maintained course, and friendly staff. The course layout offers a variety of challenges suitable for all skill levels, and the amenities, including a restaurant and lounge, add to the overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, crowded conditions, and occasional maintenance delays, such as wet areas and long rough.

Recently played this course on Sunday, November 12th, 2025. With the autumn colors out in force, this is a beautiful course to play and enjoy. The greens were recently aerated but they were still in really good shape. The fairways were in great shape as well. We all lost a few balls in the long rough as well as under the fallen leaves. Nevertheless, a great course to play and enjoy. This is not a course you will want to walk, unless you're a mountain goat. Beautiful scenery throughout the course. Staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. This is a "must-play" course.

A very beautiful and well maintained course. We played about two days following some pretty heavy rains and the course was still very wet and soggy unfortunately. I would love to come back and play once it dries out a bit.

The layout is great, with challenges coming in many shapes and sizes. The staff are respectful, and greet you with a smile!

I've always like going here, but can't justify the cost (I paid $14 to walk 9 here when I paid $13 to walk 18 at a nicer course in the area both on a weekday. I'll be going to the other course until Jackson has more competitive prices).

Excellent condition. Beautiful location. Give it a shot.

They had not had a chance to mow the roughs yet, so as long as you keep it in the fairway it’s fine. Take 1 bad bounce and good luck finding your ball in 6” of grass.

Great golf course. Very well maintained. Can't beat the price either.

Course condition was nice. Pace of play was not good. No starter(20 minutes early for our 3:50 tee time and actually teed off at 4:10). No ranger, played behind a foursome that was at least a hole behind the entire round. No offer to play through either. Overall feeling is I probably will look elsewhere before going back to Jackson Valley GC.

First time visit. The course was in amazing condition for the extreme lack of rain in the area. The greens were in perfect shape with absolutely no brown areas. Sand traps were raked and tee blocks were level and green. Incredibly EXCELLENT staff. Take time and travel and you will not be disappointed at all.

Great course, the motel rooms are a little dated but a great place to stay and play, they have their own bar and ribs & bones BBQ is right down the street and it's incredible! I wish it were closer to Erie, I would play it every week.

Very crowded, but moved smoothly. Joe, the manager was good to his word and took care of 12 guys from Buffalo, NY. Bar was nice, employees were very pleasant. Owner and his son were very helpful. Great experience....

The course is in great shape, they had a lot of rain so I wasn't getting much roll but the greens held approach shots great. I had to play the front twice because of a large group and leagues and there was a tournament the day I played, I had called ahead for a tee time and arrived early and was able to tee off early but still felt rushed to finish. I hope the next time I can play all 18, I will be sure to ask about the crowdedness next time. Staff and everyone I encountered were very friendly.
