In summary

Ironbridge Golf Club is praised for its stunning scenery, challenging layout, and well-maintained course conditions, with particularly scenic and dynamic back nine holes set in canyons. The staff is noted for being friendly and attentive, and the practice facilities are well-regarded. While the course offers a rewarding experience for skilled golfers, some visitors mention occasional slow play and patchy greens as minor drawbacks.

This is a great good course with interesting holes, great views, great service, and it will challenge most golfers. You may want to bring extra golf balls. Some shots have hidden difficulty. You really can't walk this course. Beware of impatient golfers. They could get annoyed even if you are playing faster than the posted pace of play. They aerified the greens mid-October.

Played this course with family on Labor Day 2025. We were paired with a married couple older than us during the course twighlight hours. Our group didn't dilly dally: with a brief stop for water at the turn it took us the full four hours and fifteen minutes to play all 18. Staff really bragged up the final four holes in advance of our round, which are played in a canyon away from the other fourteen holes. The attached photos are of holes 17 and 18. The par fours and threes are a relief from the very long, challenging par 5s. The elevated tee boxes on most holes, when combined with the already…

Awesome track! Love the layout, challenging but very playable. Gorgeous views, especially on the back nice. Great practice range. Overall just an awesome time and we will for sure be back. Our cart died on 16 and they came quick to the rescue.

Fairly tough course, beautiful scenery! Wish the greens were in a little better shape but we enjoy playing the course. The back 9 are in canyons so lots of up and down, very adventurous and fun!

Full disclosure, I am a member here. This course is one of the best I've played and I have lived and golfed around the world. The setting is amazing. It's in the Roaring Fork Valley, surrounded by red mountains and every hole has this dramatic back drop. The course is always in great shape, the greens are fast and true. In late summer they get a little hard and the challenge changes, with the harder greens when your drives get plenty of roll to leave shorter approach shots. So it evens out with playing early in softer conditions. Practice facilities are excellent, big putting green, grass pr…

This place is not incredibly beautiful. One of the more scenic courses I’ve ever played. Service was very friendly and attentive. The cart girl came around way more often is typical. I understand it is reasonably priced compared with nearby courses. I would play here any day!

The course offers strong variety: parts wind through valley/river terrain along the Roaring Fork River and open meadows; others climb into canyon and hillside terrain — offering dramatic elevation change and mountain-valley contrast. Some holes — especially on the back nine — are often praised for their “mountain-course feel”: challenging, scenic, and dynamic. Many players say the “back nine” is a showstopper. Shot-making is rewarded: long yardage, elevation changes, water hazards or valley terrain in some areas, meaning club selection and course management matter.

Brought my Dad out from Atlanta and had an absolute fantastic time. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. The course was beautiful and should be at the top of any golfers list on places to play in CO. The green had been aerated about 3 days before we played and still felt better than most places we play. I've played a lot of golf in the last year thanks to Covid and this is my favorite without a doubt. Can't wait to come back.

originally built as the toughest golf course in Colorado, it has been refined now, so even the Ladies like to play. It's an awesome place to live with a lot of community spirit, activities, and social engagements.

Stopped at the grill and had a wedge salad with a piece of salmon, it was very good and it was not busy. The service was great. It goes without saying, the course is just awesome to play.

Visited this course I’ve been recommended to play while staying in Aspen! The front staff were very nice, pro shop had a lot of balls/knick knack stuff but not much apparel. The range was in good shape with lots of grass available, TM range balls. The starter, Brick, got us out earlier than normal time as we got there early and were sitting around. The course itself was difficult but so much fun! You had to be precise with your driver and irons off the tee. It’s one of the courses you gotta play at least twice to understand. The tee boxes, fairway, sand were very pure and nice but the greens w…
