I’ve been playing at Highland Hills Golf Course for the past five years, and it’s become a go-to spot for me and my friends. The course is consistently well-maintained, especially the greens, and the atmosphere is welcoming without being overly formal. Whether you’re playing a serious round or just enjoying a relaxed day outdoors, this course strikes a great balance. A solid local gem in Greeley.

Old school layout but I liked it. Go back and play the blues and challenge yourself. Greens were running very well with some good breaks. Coffee in the club house needs work but it was pretty full for lunch.

Highland Hills is one of the best public courses in northern Colorado. Year after year it continues to provide a challenging and enjoyable test of golf. Could the bunkers be raked more often? Could weeds be pulled? Could areas be marked more clearly? Yes. But it’s public, so some of that is expected. Overall, Greeley is fortunate to have a public course of this quality. Pace of play, however, has always been an issue. Weekend rounds often stretch past five hours. This could be improved with a proper ranger, not just a volunteer driving laps, and a starter who manages groups effectively. Many…

Very disappointed with this course. Out of range balls. Not a big deal. Rude staff, broken push carts, marshal nowhere to be found made it really hard to play. Pretty surprised since last time was awesome. Love the actual course but it’s everything else that makes me recommend going somewhere else.

The course conditions were fine, but there were so many tee times back to back that people were hitting into each other, and the course was just too crowded. I will be in town for another month, but I will not be back due to the overfilled nature of play.

Your pro shop dude is a complete jerk. Every time I come in, he acts like I'm wasting his precious time. His attitude sucks, and frankly, it's ruining the whole experience of playing at your course. I’ve booked multiple tee times with them, then I go in and tell them my time and name and he says nope you obviously didn’t book it here or nope not here can’t help you sorry. You guys need to get him some customer service training or replace him with someone who actually wants to be there. Worst attitude I’ve ever seen.

Driving Range was horrible. Five dollars for these golf balls. Mats were hard as rocks and not safe to hit off. Grass hitting area was just as bad. Junk yard next to driving range. Was told the course was nicer but I didn’t even want to waste money to find out. I’ll pass on the place until they improve the DR.

Pretty decent course. Not sure what people are complaining about with the ranger/marshall… we weren’t bugged or talked to at all. Nice, quiet, fun experience.

Website does not reflect the actual times that you can take carts out while on this course. I would say call the pro shop to confirm but we had extremely rude service inside when we asked why the carts had to be returned 2 hours prior to sunset. Will not be returning.

It would be hard to imagine a ruder ranger. We hear complaints about how rude and entitled the younger generations are. This ranger proved you can yell at people before figuring out what is going on irrespective of one’s age. Let’s try this, relax a bit, smile, and ask kindly. Life doesn’t need to be so loud. I respect the ranger job. But goodness, calm down or take a day off.

Staff was for the most part, friendly, course is in good shape, pace was slow but its summer time... No ride alongs. You have to play if you're riding. (Not cool for the parent who has a kid and a tee time)
