Im sorry about this very negative review but the hotel is pretty bad. The rooms are atrocious, as simple as that. They look like they were gorgeous 50 years ago. Maybe The staff is nice but there were a few rude workers. It's such a shame, because the hotel could be gorgeous. The grounds are huge with a: (rundown) golf course. Pool, indoor pool, a lake on campus, huge gorgeous hills and huge trees. So it's such a shame the owners just don't care about it whatsoever. The lobby is huge and the only semi-nice thing about the hotel. My biggest problem with the hotel, (besides for the nasty rooms…

It's been years since I was here mid 90s, early 2000's, and back then, you could see all the amazing potential, to bring this place back to it's original, luxurious, stately appearance. Why the owners don't take advantage of the majority of other resorts in the area, being shut down, I cannot fathom, because people Want a decent, clean room to stay in, decent food and amenities like the other, closed, resorts once offered. With any luck some smart investor will come in, update the rooms, just carpet, linens, reline the bathtubs, and the cosmetics alone will go a long way to improve the reputat…

We came for a Shabbos weekend, the place is not new or modern looking it's a bit run down, but the rooms were clean the beds comfortable, good a/c, they had a Shabbos elevator which was very convenance since we were on the 7th floor. The food was very Heimish style, clean and plentiful. good service, in short if you don't have big expectations and are looking for a simple nice place, I recommend it. price is fair for what you get.

Went here for a school Shabbaton. I have to say this was pretty much the crustiest place I have ever been. The power went out and they don't have a generator. The staff went around lighting little tealights. They put them in the bathroom and a towel caught fire. Everything was broken including the lockes on almost all the doors. There was dust mites and cockroaches and other little bugs. It was pretty much a breeding ground for little insects and flies. It was so dirty I couldn't even sit down or sleep. I think the only thing I liked was the view and nature. I highly recommend not coming here.

DONT GO HERE I stayed here this past Saturday, and it was honestly awful. The room was infested with bugs — cockroaches, ladybugs, and even people saw bed bugs. The beds were dirty, the walls had strange green stains, and the bathroom had mold everywhere. It felt completely unclean and uncomfortable from the start. In the middle of the night, the electricity went out and stayed off the entire Saturday. The staff did apologize, but it didn’t make up for how bad the conditions were. The window in my room was broken so cold air was coming in the whole night This place was nothing like a normal h…

Mostly abandoned complex. Looking out the window feels like you are on a scene of the walking dead. + 1 star for not getting eaten by a bear.

Once a year there is a huge music festival at this resort which is mind blowing event! Festival “Vibe” I am highly recommend to attend it at some point in august. The territory is huge! Lobby with piano is just an amazing location. So many events 24/7 and non stop music. Kids events. Adults events. It was the best weekend in my life with friends.

The hotel retains many of the original features. It is a great place to bring toddlers with blowup equipment, a toy room, kiddie food and kiddie entertainment

This place is disgusting! The tennis courts are filled with glass! The pool was falling apart and had tarps all around it! The parking lot had broken vehicles there. The rooms are not clean and shouldn’t pass inspection! It’s unsafe and unclean! Only thing good is location to hiking!

You can see that the hotel used to be a beautiful one 25 years ago, but it seems like they are not doing too much to update the hotel, but just to fix what's needed. So you'll see stains on the carpet and some things are old and peeling off and some smell of moldy in some areas of the hotel. But the lobby is very nice and the rooms are decent and clean. We were there for Passover program and the people were nice. Food was okay and the service was great. Very nice people. Overall the hotel needs to be updated. Wouldn't be my fourth choice for vacation
