We've found Highland Woods to be a friendly/welcoming community with wonderful amenities. The new resort pool facility, pickleball courts, and fitness center are all top notch. And the golf course is fun and challenging. The greens on the Gordon Lewis designed course run true, and the landscaping around the course is beautiful... lots of flowers and palm trees.

I so love the closeness of this community. I don't think you are ever truly a starnger here. The club house is impeccable. The wait staff, chefs, hosts n hostesses are very knowledgeable and quite informative on all they have to offer. Thee on-site gym very current types of equipment along with a class area. Open 24/7 and card key controled(aka; VERY SECURE). Bocce ball courts, golf swiming pools, they have all the needed amenities.

Be aware front gate security (dan I believe) is not very welcoming at all. He just looked at me like I was clearly lost and if it wasn’t for my passenger don’t think I would have been let in.

Played there today for the first time. A very nice club. Nice people and the course was great. Fairways and greens very good. Nothing at all bad to say. Can't wait to go back!

We were fortunate to be guests for dinner at the club. Food was excellent far better than other club experiences we have had elsewhere. Pleasant service and a memorable evening

This Gordan Lewis track offers ample tee choices with plenty of water that can come into play from the back tees, but not so much from the #3 or more forward tees. Tees and fairways were in good shape, but greens were both slow and in trouble due to both length of the grass and burn-out. Sanding was common on at least 6 greens. The restaurant was closed on the Sunday I played. The pro shop is a relatively long way from the bag drop. Inside and outside helpers were good including bag handlers and "pace" managers. Carts have GPS as I recall.

The food in the restaurant is awesome. If you don't know anyone here, make friends with someone who does lives here so you can go to the restaurant! Great staff and great food.

Mean and nasty residents and staff. The guard Dan is his name that works during the day seems to be racist as I have witnessed him yelling and using racial terms towards other people of "color" working there. I would just stay away from this place all together.
