Pelican's Nest Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained, challenging Fazio-designed courses, which offer a variety of tee options to suit all skill levels. The club's staff is frequently commended for their professionalism and friendliness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere and strong sense of community among members. The Nest Golf Club is a welcoming and friendly. It blends upscale amenities with a relaxed, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The two courses cater to players of every skill level, offering beautiful, well-kept fairways and greens that challenge without being intimidating. The staff and membership are genuinely welcoming, fostering a sense of community from day one. My husband and I joined in 2021, and we’re absolutely thrilled with our decision. The Nest consistently exceeds our expectations and quickly became our favorite retreat for golf and camaraderie.

We tried out The Nest with a two month transfer membership. Judi and I are avid golfers, 25 & 8 hdcps and play a lot up north. After just a few weeks it was obvious it was the right choice for us and we joined as full golf members. Interesting 36 holes of golf in good condition, enough room off the tee's but still need to hit it straight, water and palmettos nearby. Strength of the course are the greens and green-side areas. Lots of interesting chips and putts keeps the rounds fun. The finishing holes on both courses are fabulous! There is plenty of length with multiple tees to choose from and…

My wife and I joined the Nest this past January, and what a wonderful experience it has been. The staff both outside and inside are friendly, courteous, professional and always seem genuinely happy to see us. The food is excellent and we have made many friends in just a short while. The two golf courses each have their own look and feel to them so that you have a nice contrast between them. With a choice of 7 tee boxes on every hole, every golfer can choose the challenge level that fits them best. Even my wife, who just started playing, can play off of the far forward "scoring" tee and have a…

As a “guest” I can appreciate the members’ excitement when he explained the Hurricane & Gator Golf course(s) and friendly staff that raise the bar as both are excellent challenging courses. Enjoyed it! Same applies each Winter we come back to play

A man named AJ, who is in charge was rude and completely unprofessional. He is a horrible representative of this club and can only damage it’s reputation. My husband and I visited the Nest on Dec 16, 2024 with our realtor. We were looking at several properties in Pelican Landing. Our agent raved about the golf club. Since we were in town for a short time my husband asked to look at the Nest as the golf was one of the reasons we were interested. Our agent tried to reach A.J. prior to us stopping in the club house. Upon entering to club house there was no one in the dining room. Our agent stoppe…

The Fazio layouts are incredible. Staff is excellent. Hayes is the man. He's like an air traffic controller for a golf course. Hundreds of rounds a day and runs totally smooth. The courses are always in great shape with the amount of play they gets. It's almost hard to believe. Tons of nature awaits. Birds, gators, etc. Even the cart girls are great. Can't wait till next time.

Over the past two years, one thing has been constant at Pelican’s Nest Golf Club: change. During that time, both The Gator Course and The Hurricane Course, have been completely renovated, from tee to green. The results will amaze you. In renovating The Nest Bel Jan created a “course within a course.” These “scoring tees” eliminate a lot of the fairway hazards and make each course a lot easier to manage and navigate your way around. While the championship tees are identified with Roman numerals, the scoring tees are identified with an “S” and have their own scorecard. Many members use them on…

Just spoke to AJ , director of sales. I was very impressed with the information about the courses. Apparently they just renovated both courses. This will definitely be on my list for courses as I pursue a private membership in the near future.
