Relaxed course with cheap fees. The layout is a little odd with most of the tee boxes right behind the prior green, so confidence in your approach shot is required. Not much variety in hole shape, a couple small doglegs. But overall a great place to play.

If you golf, Hartwell Golf Club is definitely where you want to be. These people are friendly, nice, and the prices are definitely affordable for the everyday person! The dress code is casual, which is an added bonus!!! They gave us a Valentine's Day deal that we coul not resist. My Fiance and I had a blast golfing, enjoying the scenery, and riding the golf cart. Golf carts are included with the regular golfing price. They even went as far to include a loaner ice cooler with ice to keep our beer cold. We bought the beer in their shop, which they have a wide variety to choose from, along with s…

I've been playing Hartwell Golf Club twice a week now. The course presents some unique challenges, making par golf here quite a struggle. I'm enjoying the course very much.

This was my first time playing the HGC and I liked it. It's not a long course, but it gives you a myriad of looks, with some placement holes that require less than driver, to stay in play. The greens need some love, so maybe help them afford it by playing a round or two, because it really is a sweet little gem. The pro shop is spacious and there are tables/chairs on the patio for those after round hotdogs and conversations. It's worth the ride and the savings on the round, pay for the difference in gas, so, win-win. All the best and hope ya hit em straight when you do give them a try.

Great out of the way golf course. Reasonably priced green fees. Fantastic course for the not so good golfer, like me. I'm in my happy place there.

I’ve been harassed since then first hole from the people managing this course…. Said “ I wasn’t a real golfer” at the first hole…. Payed 50 bucks to have a horrible time… DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Absolutely awful management!!!

Beautiful day to play golf. New golfer friendly. Average 18 hole for 4 players is 3.5hrs. Couple of water holes on the back 9. Some sand bunkers are less sandy and more dirt or mud. Plenty of snacks and drinks in the club house. Lots of new golf carts. Cart paths have a few rough patches but nothing you can't go around. $28 for 18 holes at the time of this posting.

GREAT little course. Greens are in good shape and the fairways will be nice when the grass grows in. VERY fairly priced.

I have been golfing for 30 years and this course without a doubt is the absolute worst course that I have ever played. Literally no grass on the tee boxes and fairways. NO GRASS! The cart paths are destroyed. The greens are horrible. Will NEVER play there again.

Great course and great staff! Got back in the game after nearly 20 years and 'call' Hartwell Golf Club my home. Quick drive from Lavonia, GA. Great rates too.

Nice folks involved. Green fees reasonable. Very fair course to play. Greens are a little funky and cart path similar....
