We had a great time! Rooms we wonderful and golf is fun and challenging. It would have been 5 stars but they are trying to figure a few things while it changes ownership.

One-Star Review Easter Weekend Stay at Cateechee Golf Course – Disappointed and Concerned I rented all four suites at the Cateechee Golf Course lodging for Easter weekend, and I have to say, the experience was incredibly disappointing. Great Mountain course layout, fantastic views, large and fast greens. Generous fairways but with US Open rough. This is a must play golf course.

Played with a group on the weekend. Have played this course several times over the past 15 years. It has a beautiful layout and is very challenging. We have stayed in the 4 bedrooms above the pro-shop a few times in the past. Excellent for a small guys getaway. The restaurant is really good.

Fantastic Sunday Brunch! We had a great Sunday brunch at the Waterfall Grille at Cateechee Golf Club in Hartwell. The Eggs Benedict were excellent, and the cozy new couch by the fireplace adds a nice touch. Bottomless mimosas and a delicious Bloody Mary rounded out the experience. Highly recommend!

We were on the driving range hitting some practice balls for which we had paid for, just as we have several times lately. The owner came up and questioned whether we were members in a very assuming way, then proceeds to tell us that “this is not a free range” to which I responded, “yes, we paid for it”. He began to back up quickly after this and apologized. Too little too late, his presumptuous manner was unacceptable. We will not be back, and I will recommend to everyone I can to do the same. Very fun and challenging golf course. Lots of elevation changes.

Played this course 3 times over the last few years. I really love the course, it has some really hard holes but a great layout over all. Its best to ride up and look at where you need to hit to on several holes. I didn't and thought i hit good shots which wasn't the case. Greens were perfect.

Drinks were good, scenery was pretty (golf course), food was good. The issue was that the food took FOREVER to get to the table even though we had all pre ordered. Over half of our group, 20, had finished their food before some ever got their salads much less their main dish.
