In summary

Harmon Golf Club is appreciated for its affordability and friendly staff, with some visitors enjoying the challenging layout of its 9-hole course, which is played twice for an 18-hole experience. However, several reviews mention issues with course maintenance, such as worn tee boxes and fairways, and some golfers have experienced slow pace of play and inconsiderate behavior from other players. While the course offers a casual and accessible golfing experience, it may not meet the expectations of those seeking a more polished or leisurely round.

I would like to start and say many people here had zero manners. We came in the pro shop to check in and the guy had an immediate attitude. Then he proceeds to not provide us with a cart even though we had valid licenses. We shook it off and began to walk. Then we were met with terribly maintained fairways and greens. Also the tee box’s rarely had healthy grass. Many of the other golfers also had poor manners. Me and my two buddies were almost hit 5 or more times with zero warning. I would NOT recommend.

Staff is 10/10. Tee’d off at 4 PM yesterday, first time on the course. Fun course & it was beautiful! Would recommend and come again.

Quality of course matches price. Sort of. It’s cheap, but so is Dayton Community, and that course is in so much better shape. Fairway is eaten up by golf cart tracks filled with mud. Tee boxes are overgrown. Sand is like concrete. So on and so forth. You get what you pay for! (Fore?)

Will never golf here again. Every single time it’s something. This time they couldn’t let us play 18 holes due to having an outing they didn’t even advertise so we booked 18, drove all the way out there just to be turned away. Every time I try to golf here, it’s just a frustrating experience. It’s not the nicest course as it is so you’d think they’d at least want to keep what clientele they have. Never again.

Great Golf Course - Wouldn’t recommend for a first timer as the course has some tight fairways, blind tee shots, and is very hilly. YOU WILL lose some balls. however, the par 71 is a great test to experienced players. I think its price is right. $35 for 18 and riding, although it’s 9 holes you play them different each time. The tee box conditions could use a little work, but regardless it’s a lot of fun. The course offers one par 3 and one par 5 except hole 9 can be played as a par 3. Pace of play can also be an issue but with a smaller more local course what are you gonna do. I’d recommend Ha…

My friends and I came through here for a round of golf today and had such a blast. Even with very little golf experience between the four of us, the management made us feel welcome and helped us with any questions we had. On top of that, the price for rentals and drinks was very reasonable. I will definitely be coming here again and will be recommending this place to friends.

Played on 07/20/24 after making a last minute Saturday tee time. 9-hole course; layout is little more than up one hill and down the next. A huge ditch runs through the center of the course. A few tees were in very bad shape; fairways and small greens were in good, playable condition. My group wanted to walk; the uneven layout doesn't make this the best walkable course option. Green fees were higher than expected for seniors walking. Positive: one can generally walk on this course, virtually anytime, without a tee time. Nothing outstanding about Harmon, and in my opinion, there are many better…

Work league golfs here and it is a really nice course. Only 9 holes but it is well maintained and there is a decent club house.

Course is in rough shape. Tee boxes are dirt patches. 10 plus min wait time after every single shot. Don't play here unless you have 6+ hours to play 18. The staff is rude as all get out. They had the audacity to come up and tell us to hurry up because they had a scramble starting when we were on hole 9 after we literally waited after ever single shot. We decided to call it at hole 10 because we were 4 hours in and didnt want to play any longer. The staff was confrontational when we addressed our concearns. Don't give this course your time or money. This is by far the worst course I've played…

This is a great 9 hole golf course that has a second set of tees making it 18. Played a few weeks ago and the course was in great shape. It is an easy course to get a 9 in after work in the evening. The staff is friendly. The carts are decent. And the price isn't too steep. Be prepared for narrow fairways, and the possibility of you or another golfer finishing their hole by playing in another fairway. The greens are also on the smaller side. This is not Shaker Run or Rivers Bend, nor should it be compared to them. For an in town, 100+ year old course, Harmon is great.

Not an 18 hole…more like 12 as you have to use some holes twice. Have to keep your head up as the holes are so close. Often others end up in your fairway. No one yells if a ball is coming your way. People had their dogs ..not on leash. Partial cart paths. It was chaotic. Locals may like it but it’s a very confusing not well marked course. Staff was nice.

BAD AS IT GETS. I paid for a foursome riding 18 when my buddy showed up to get the second cart they charged him $40 as a rider. When confronted about this they did not give a refund. Absolutely joke.
