Greenwich Country Club

Lots of history here, and it shows. Outstanding facilities and staff. Great care is taken to keep the members and their guests happy. Fine cuisine and libations. The international staff provides many opportunities to talk about other countries and converse in other languages. Management is smooth and seamless. Greenwich itself is historic and prosperous, featuring ubiquitous stone walls, plentiful wooded green swaths protected as Trust lands, beaches on the Long Island Sound, and a dizzying array of top shopping venues and fine restaurants.

I’m absolutely thrilled with our experience at this venue! We held both our Hindu wedding and reception here, with 550 guests, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The venue granted us full access for the entire event, which allowed us to celebrate in a spacious and beautifully maintained setting. Exquisite indeed! If getting married multiple times wasn't frowned upon, I'd say "I do" quite often, just so I could have a wedding here for the amazing food, impecable service and wonderful location that this club displayed when I visited it for a function. Great job, Greenwich CC!

I love this place! The grounds and event space was gorgeous and welcoming. I got here as the sun was setting and it was so beautiful. I came here for an event and was pleasantly surprised - it was a wonderful time. The food was good. The salmon on crackers was a little salty though. But, the meatballs and empanadas were delicious. The bar was well-stocked and had great Chardonnay. The bartender was friendly but sort of confused. The place is beautiful. I was there for a wedding reception in October 2019. The whole town is obviously wealthy. A member of the club offered me $20 for a cigarette. It's basically a suburb of NYC.

It's the best. Beautiful clubhouse. Beautiful view. Staff is so friendly they make it feel like home. Very kid friendly. Golf course is immaculate and unique.

Course is about to undergo a major renovation so looking forward to what's to come. Having the main entrance road cut through a hole (12th?) just before the green is disconcerting as you hit your drive (my drive came 20-30 ft short of the road). I would move the tee box back 30-50 yds on that hole and put the green in front of the road and lengthen the next par 3 by 30 yds. That would be awesome way to fix this issue.

The food was excellent

Famous club, former pupil national finalist Scotty Mc Person still has a diving record from 1977. Wow! I was there to officiate a diving meet. I saw the famous Sue Baker. And, I was proud to see a former champion pupil Justin Sodikopt(Dartmouth student)coaching their divers.
