In summary

Grandview Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for both amateur and experienced golfers. The course layout, with its challenging small greens and rolling hills, adds an enjoyable level of difficulty. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow play due to inexperienced golfers and occasional scheduling conflicts, as well as concerns about maintenance in certain areas and customer service experiences.

For a public course it isn't fantastic shape. The only problem is there's always people that are new to the sport or even old in the sport that have no golf etiquette whatsoever and pay some play is always an issue. Especially when many people jump holes and then play at a very slow pace. Other than that you can't beat the price and the quality of the course

Really nice municipal course. Well maintained fairways and greens. Greens are tight, fairways and greens have rolling hills which add a challenge to the overall course. Highly recommend checking this one out.

The restaurant is closed on Monday, so you can not get ice nor drinks. No ice in clubhouse nor water on course. A group of teens from local surrounding schools had some sort of tournament/match, so they dumped them all on the back 9 just as we were starting the back. We weren't given a heads up by the elderly gentleman working there, and we got stuck between the 2 last groups. The teens are unsupervised, so a misfire off one green into the fairway of another, while looking into the sun as it hangs low during the dusk hours, infuriates these immature teens...we accidentally hit one of the golf…

I grew up across the street from Grandview Golf Course and in my youth I thought it was the greatest place on earth. I spent a lot of time on that course. As I got older the course changed. Sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worst. The house I grew up in is right at the distance many golfers can hit a drive. So at a certain point golfers hit balls into the yard. Course rules are of a ball is out of bounds, you drop one inbounds and play from the legal course. Well.... The city of Anderson decided to remove the out of bounds fence along the street (Northshore Blvd.) and now golfe…

Course is good for the amateur golfer, and is not too long or difficult. It's in great shape. And the green fees are very reasonable.

Great public course. Everything kept in decent shape. Prices are fair. Challenging greens. Also has a nice restaurant and bar on site.

Ate at the restaurant. Was not impressed. Hamburger bun was covered with butter. Made it hard to eat, so I just ate the Hamburger without the bun. Did not see the menu for dessert-so they told me what they had. Decided on 2 pieces of carrot cake. Got our bill and each piece was $8.50. Holy cow. For $17.00 I could buy a whole cake at a bakery. Oh well. Live & learn. Once bitten twice shy.

Tried to call and reachesule a tee time and never got a call back even though the course was still open. Tried to book a tee time on the website and never could log in even after I changed the password. This is a nice course but it's kind of hard to play when no one answers the phone and the website sucks.
