Glades Golf & Country Club

We played the Pines Course at The Glades Golf & Country Club and had a great experience. The course is well-designed with a nice variety of holes — lots of doglegs, some tight fairways, and several water hazards that make each shot feel meaningful. It’s not overly long, but it definitely rewards accuracy and course management. The condition of the course was impressive. Fairways were well-maintained, and the greens were a real highlight — smooth, true, and just tricky enough to make you focus. They rolled great and added a nice challenge without feeling unfair. I've never played a course with such nice grass. Even during the hot summer months. What about the rough you ask? Can't tell the rough from the fairway! Simply put, the best course I've ever played. And I've played courses all over the country.

Just worked an event here and it went amazing! Jacqui and Charles and their staff were so wonderful to work with. They were very accommodating to everything I needed and very helpful. Couldn't have pulled off this event without them.

I only gave it 4 stars because of the length of the course, but if you can play this track it is amazing and the staff are second to none. We had an outing here with35 guys and they were accommodating in every way and really made us feel welcome.

The golf course is a hidden gem. I really enjoy playing here. For condition and playability it rates 5 stars. I gave it 4 stars because they seem to shy away from having the ranger do their job; they let people play slowly. It's a pleasure to be able to walk the course, and as a par 70 layout with many interesting holes, it is enjoyable and still challenging. I mention a "par 70 layout" but the Glades has 36 holes. Pines is the Par 70, and Palmetto is a par 3 course a par of 55 and 2,121 yards in distance. Both are fun.

A short but very challenging golf course with some of the best fairways I've ever played in, ball sits up and are well manicured. Greens are true and sneaky fast. Will definitely play it again.

If I could add more stars I would, the reason will be obvious when you go there. The staff is more than accommodating the ambiance is inviting and comfortable and it is just magic what comes out of the kitchen. There are Advent calendars where you will enjoy a special menu, live entertainment and even some dancing if you choose. Enjoy your meal inside or poolside and don't forget the bar if you would like to have some libation and conversation.
