In summary

Giant Oaks Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, friendly staff, and excellent facilities, making it a favored spot for both casual rounds and events. However, some visitors express concerns about the slow pace of play and management's handling of certain situations, which have affected their overall experience. Despite these issues, many still consider it a valuable and enjoyable golfing destination.

My favorite course around. The Executive par 3 course is as beautiful as the 18 hole course. Well maintained, clean clubhouse and friendly staff. I love that the Exec is always easy to get in to last minute when there is a sudden change in weather allowing for an impromptu round.

Decent lay out. Good food. Average shape...though the fairways are pretty shaggy. Always slow play. Always!!! Never once played here without waiting forever on the group in front of us. Been told the general manager is afraid of upsetting people by asking them to speed up. I guess she'd rather piss people off with slow play. So, you either prepare yourself for a 5 hour round, get frustrated with the pace of play, or play somewhere else. I'm choosing the later.

Beautiful course and very friendly staff! We had a great day! Greens were nice and they have cleared some of the trees.

Me and 2 of my friends were checking in for our tee time. My one friend asked if he were to bring his 5 year old son to golf how much would it cost. The pro shop employee said it would be $40! For a 5 year old? No other golf course has even charged him for his son! Some sort of fee would be acceptable but $40 is insane! When we made the turn we stopped and got drinks. One my friends ordered 3 beverages, the other ordered 2 and I ordered 1. The friend that ordered 2 asked for a bag of ice and was informed "you must order 3 drinks to get ice". Seriously? Our other friend did so why didn't we ge…

Great place to play golf if you want a 6 hour round. 7-minutes between each tee time sounds like a great pace of play. Even better when they don’t own up to their wrongdoings. —————— Continued - didn’t even mentioned the presumably *scheduled* maintenance that was running the entire day until 4PM. Best part - you knew it was going to be busy yesterday and still slammed the tee sheet with 7 minutes between tee times. All i ask is for people to own up to their mistakes. Luckily, there are plenty of other courses in the area to play.

Nice golf club. Not a lot of trouble but some challenges with hazards on short par 3s. My group is all seniors, ages 69-75. We played white/gold tee combination. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is also a par 3 course available. We did not play it, but it was fairly busy.

Played a 6 hour 18 hole round on Memorial Day. Was told pace of play was fine and that 7 minute tee times were acceptable by the starter who delayed our start time by 15 mins. I was in the same group as AJ. Our tee time was 11:37, we teed off at 11:52 and didn’t end the round until almost 5:30. I was there. I know it happened. 6 hours. Not 4:58 like you claimed.

Great place to golf. The fairways are well tended and the roughs are not to bad when looking for a lost ball. The greens are well kept as well.

Course is in great shape. Play was slow, but it was the weekend of the 4th, and I wasn't expecting a lot. A great value course, well worth our trip.
