In summary

Foster Park Golf Course is appreciated for its picturesque setting and mature trees, offering a straightforward layout that many find enjoyable. However, numerous visitors have expressed concerns about the course's current condition, citing issues with the greens and fairways, as well as dissatisfaction with the staff's treatment of amateur players. While some look forward to planned updates, others have been disappointed by the ongoing construction and maintenance challenges.

The course is barely playable. Like the other recent reviews with pictures the fairways and greens are cracking apart and you’ll have better play hitting the rough than the fairway. This “temporary hole” on the back nine is literally just mowed fairway and is completely not playable. Use to come here years ago and it was pretty nice. I was incredibly disappointed and won’t be coming back

Lady in the clubhouse was very nice . But this course may be the worst I have seen in Fort Wayne. Fairways look more brown than green and some of the greens are unplayable. Wouldn’t recommend

This is the worst course I have ever played. Even with the construction, the groundskeeper is not doing their job. Not worth the $36 I paid. Maybe $20.

Im pretty much over golfing here. It was my childhood course but now its a shell of its former self. The greens are laugable. Scorched earth.

The course is in horrible condition and the staff said they don't give rain checks. You couldn't pay me to come back here!

I really loved this park. The woods especially. It was breathtaking and there are other paths to take. I went to. The one with a bridge and the other one that has the abandoned picnic place which looked creepy but adds that wood aesthetic feel. The one negative about this is how it goes are the golf course and that's not really safe since there can be people that can hit the ball out of the field. My dad and I almost got hit by one, luckily a tree was there so it was all good but I do recommend putting some fences in case. Overall it was a good experience but there should be need for protectio…

The course is in terrible shape. The greens are cracked, missing grass, and hard as a rock. A lot of the fairways are cracked bad enough to lose a ball under the edges. The temporary par 3 on the back is terrible. It has club divots in it and the grass is more like the rough. I would not have played there if I would have known how bad the course conditions are. If you don't believe me, go to the clubhouse and take a look at their practice putting greens. You'll see the same thing and worse out on the course. It's a shame. This used to be a beautiful course to play on.

Why do all 3 the courses run by the city employ the rudest and most uncourteous employees I've ever come across at golf courses? I've been playing for 40 years all over the country and world and I can say these employees could care less. The city should mystery shop their own courses once in a while to see how bad the public gets treated at their own courses.

They have made a lot of nice changes to this park. It all looks very nice. I've always enjoyed visiting this park. Ever since being a lil girl.
