Elmira Country Club

Well this review starts with a Wedding 1st. Wedding was in December and the venue is cute, small, but manageable. As for the host and the "chef" completely fell apart. No communication at all. We went 3 months in advance to do food tasting and select our foods. The club put on a show boy. Chef came out and the food was pretty good. Day of the wedding. Nothing was right all the foods were different then we selected. "The delivery truck didn't bring the food." This came from the host. Then the "open bar" for 1 hour. Yeah that lasted 1 minute. My wife and I were married here and the wedding coordinator Ashley was so helpful. Ive played golf here. They have a really nice course. Its a really beautiful place. Great food and atmosphere as well.

Beautiful, accommodating, fun for all! Was there for the Pre 4th of July BBQ & a spectacular fireworks display!

Attended a bridal shower here. The venue is gorgeous! The decor for the shower was very tasteful. The food and drinks were delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were having a Prom there that evening. Beautiful views of the golf course as well. Highly recommend for any event

My entertainment business was there to do a wedding on New Year’s Eve with an incredible family. The staff was on point all night treated us like we were one of the guests… we had our own table to eat our dinner and that doesn’t happen very often. The wedding planner Ashley said it was her first wedding. If that’s the case she’s going to be incredible. She was so easy to work with and so very kind! The place was ultra clean and the set up was amazing. We had the chicken scampi and it was delicious. Great course, groundskeepers do an amazing job. Very nice clubhouse. Should consider having some dates throughout the season dediated for public play, let your local golfers enjoy your beautiful course.

Club is great, people we met we extremely nice. Only problem was no one was watching the food and silverware, we couldn't find a fork at first, when we did they were almost gone. Meat was served which needed a knife could not find one of those. Food was excellent in flavor. They had a bar set up in the room we were in, which was ok but our table had to keep going to regular bar which wasn't a big deal but only one bartender definitely not enough for the volume of people that were there. Very nice, well maintained golf course with fast greens that only members know how to read :). Clubhouse was recently rebuilt making my visit to play golf and dine quite enjoyable. Lunch special of the day, steak sandwich was excellent and prices quite reasonable for this setting. Staff is exceptionally attendant to one's needs/desires.

My husband and I went here for dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary. We aren’t members, but they allow one dinner for your anniversary. The food and our waitress were great. However, the members were not. We ate in the bar area and were the only ones in there until a group of five men came off the golf course. They all sat together and had a few drinks. Their conversation was audible, as again, it was only my husband and I, and them. The group was saying VERY rude and racist things in regards to African Americans, and laughing at each other’s jokes about the topic. Their conversation…

Came in for a Wedding Show representing 5 Star Limousine service. Nice building and amenities for all in attendance from a vendor side as well as a customer side. Could have had more people attend, but apparently there were other weekend activities in the area that caused a lower attendance. It was nice for the Elmira Country Club to host the local event for would be brides. Consolidating information for wedding plans in one place is very helpful and may result in lower stress for families and brides to be!!!

My Brother Dr. Robert L. Madden just recently got married there It was a wonderful celebration, the food was spectacular and the waitresses were awesome Thank you to all of you!!!
