In summary

Eco Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability, friendly staff, and the opportunity it provides for a casual round of golf or FootGolf, with many enjoying the natural setting and wildlife. However, some visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, proximity to a sewage plant, and reports of animal mistreatment, which have affected their overall experience. The course's condition and amenities are generally seen as suitable for beginners or those seeking a relaxed game, though it may not meet the expectations of more serious golfers.

I think people’s expectations are way too high. For a super cheap course, we thought it was nice. The first 2 or 3 holes stink from the water treatment plant, but there’s lots of cool wildlife around to check out. The people who worked there were super friendly. Plenty of drinks available for purchase. Great for a quick, cheap round!

Was taking my walk this morning, and I witnessed Eco golf course allowing state workers to treat iguanas horribly while they were frozen in a state of torpor. When I made a phone call, the worker hung the phone up instead of addressing the issue. I will never be coming here ever again. I will not support a place that condones this behavior towards innocent animals in need of our kindness.

Giving it 5 stars for effort. Conditions weren’t great but you know what you’re getting. Can’t believe the awesome terrain though, hills, water, trees and dog legs. The clubhouse is what it is but the lady working the desk was just wonderful and pleasant. It’s built around a sewage plant lol. Played as I only had time for 9 before my return flight and all else was booked, enjoyed my time and wasn’t as easy as I thought.

Great time at this course. Know what you’re getting into. We played this course after a rainy afternoon. The starter was helpful and prompt to assist. The course was fine for our poor skill level. Nature was abundant. Clubhouse experience was phenomenal and couldn’t figure out why there weren’t more people. If you’re in south Florida and looking to kill 2 hours, this is your place. It’s not Augusta, but it’s top notch for Disgusta. Thanks for the fun round.

Greens were very slow and some a little thicker than others. Fairways are dry, short, narrow and have weeds. Good for working on your short game and precision hitting. Also good if you are new to the game so you can work on it because you won't be rushed unless they have their group of locals that play 1 morning every weekend. Golf carts are in great shape. Gentleman in pro shop was really nice and helpful. Thanks

Fun 9 hole course. Over past year they have made improvements to the course..especially hole 4 has a good grass in fairway + clearing brush throughout the total course.

If you like "rough" golf, then this place is for you. The grounds are in fair condition and so are the greens. It is located at a waste treatment plant. Waters are muddy but there is evidence of vegetation cleanup. The course is affordable and a good place for practice.

Great little 9 hole executive course in East Hollywood. Has both par 3 and 4 holes Challenging water hazards on 3 & 5.

I took my granddaughter out for her first round of golf. The course was perfect for her and challenging enough for me. You do have to read the course correctly or you will have to get your sandwedge out. I loved the course. The sewer smell in the first three holes are not fun for the squimish. It didn't bother me.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They let workers come in and mishandle iguanas that were frozen in the state of torpor. They allowed people to come in and throw the iguanas into garbage cans, hurling them in the air, while laughing. When I called the golf club to address this issue, the person who answered the phone got very defensive telling me it wasn't the Eco employees, but workers of the state. She then proceeded to say " i have no further comment on this issue" addressing the fact that she was aware of this horrific incident. I will not support a golf course who condones anim…

Played FootGolf on Sunday for the first time with MiamiFGC, it was a great experience, the staff there was very welcoming, and the 9 holes open for Footgolf were great. For all levels. The foot golf holes are open every night after 3PM. If you dont have any plans, or you just want to enjoy the outdoors, this is a great place to go to or take your kids, through the course we saw iguanas, and other wild life so it was just a pleasant and fun time overall

This is an excellent step-up from a traditional executive course. With a par 5 and 2 par 4s, be sure to bring a driver. Beautiful scenery and a pleasant staff makes it perfect for your next golf outing.
