In summary

Echo Hills Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly and attentive staff, and the enjoyable challenge presented by its distinct front and back nines. The course is considered a good value with reasonable pricing and appealing amenities. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the pace of play and occasional management issues, particularly regarding the enforcement of course etiquette and handling of slower groups.

We played the front nine. The course was in pretty good condition for as dry as it's been. I really like the new cart paths and hole placements. Overall I was very satisfied with the condition of the course and the staff.

Nobody monitored the pace of play on 6/21/25. We quit after 13 holes because we were already over 4 hours and waited on every shot. Even the starter said it’s going to be a slow one. Well, do something about it. The course itself is in nice shape, but not for a 5 hour plus round.

Came out today and played 18 and let me tell you, the course was near perfect! You can tell that they take pride in their course. I have been a couple times years ago and always had a fun time but today really stood out to me. The pace of play was perfect and I never waited more than 5-10 minutes max to tee off. I will definitely be back to play more rounds and lose more balls at Echo Hills

I frequent the many courses in Montgomery county. Today I was invited to Echo Hills for the first time and must say was surprised. Place was well maintained. Pace of play was exactly what I would expect on a beautiful Sunday. Very friendly staff prices were on par 😃. I will definitely be back.

The golf course is nice and the pricing is decent but the general manager can be rude at times. My boyfriend and I went, I would classify us as intermediate players, and we were paired with a couple who one was about our level and the other a beginner. Our group was just about to start hole 6 when what seemed to be the general manager, pulled us aside and told us we were a hole behind and told us we needed to pick up the pace when the group in front of us had just gotten to the green of hole 6. He seemed very rude about it and didn’t seem to care or consider that some of us were beginners. His…

One of the finest public golf courses I've ever played. The course is in A-1 condition. The head pro Patrick has an outstanding staff, Hanna and Chase provide great service. Practice facilities are as good as any private club I've belonged to.

Nice enough public course. Efficient clubhouse employees at check-in. But, only 3 out of 5 stars because $30 each for 2 seniors (1, a Military Veteran), to ride 9 holes for an early Sunday afternoon tee time is a bit steep. May or may not return, but quite sure there are better value courses in the regional area.

The gold course is beautiful. The main building is clean and organized. The shop is a little pricey on the offered apparel and items. The check in and food counter is clean and efficient. Pricing for the food and course is reasonable. The staff is upbeat and friendly. Administrator has some issues regarding views and interactions.

Love the course, back nine is much more fun! greens are outstanding to putt on, smooth, true and fast! Great price as well with the fall special! $25 for 18 riding, can't beat it! Only gripe would be, we did have to wait quite a bit on the group in front of us using the course as a driving range for their new guy, for those complaining they have to skip a hole, learn golf etiquette and pick up and move along if you are slow or just suck at golf.
