In summary

Eagle Rock Golf Club offers a scenic and versatile venue with dining options that receive high praise, particularly for their wings and other menu items. The course layout is appreciated for its challenge and beauty, especially during the fall season. However, several visitors express concerns about the maintenance of the golf course, noting issues with tee boxes, fairways, and greens, which some feel detracts from the overall golfing experience.

Best wings in NW Ohio! The chef at this place is the real deal. I've been eating here for the past 10 years when in town. Highly recommended. They also built another building on property that has 2 golf simulators, Trackman, and a huge gameroom.

2024 This course is no longer run by someone who cares about golf. They charge a high amount for the product they put out. It’s a shame what this course has turned into. The fairways and greens are burnt and dead. The tee boxes look like they were hit by a mortar base on how uneven the they are. If they put just a shred of care into this course it would be good again. Updated 2025 they still refuse to properly take care of this course. At what point will they finally start to care again I just added 2 new pictures of greens legitimately half mowed. It looks like the built the greens on Minecr…

Greens were smooth and fast. Tee boxes were a little shabby. Nothing was open except pro shop. Porta John was only bathroom.

Not only is this a beautiful golf course, but it's also an ideal place where you can partake in casual dining, formal dining, and even enjoy beverages at their brewery. This all in one venue has something for everyone!

The food at Sweetwater Chophouse was delicious! I think they make their salad dressing in house and it's good! The lobster bisque was some of the best I've had.

Good course. Absolutely beautiful. I dropped 1 star because of the absolute annoyance of bugs. For 1/2 of the holes we were getting hit in the face by bees, bugs, and were constantly dealing with spider webs and killed multiple spiders off our cart. Other then that it was absolutely beautiful. We went during the color change of fall. And the food. GREAT. Take the time to go upstairs and have a good meal.

Beautiful course and well maintained. Friendly staff and the deck of the Chophouse is always a great place to eat a great meal in the shade and it has a great view overlooking the 18th green.

I grew up playing this course in the late 50’s thru mid 60’s. Although, only 9 holes at the time it was always in fine condition and has been through the years. However, since the new owner has taken over this now 18 hole track it’s a joke. The fairways are shaggy and full of bare dirt patches. The tee boxes are abysmally uneven and pocked with divots and the greens are ridiculously neglected. I’ve played twice here in the last two years hoping for improvement, but it’s only gotten worse. I will not be back. The same goes for Auglaize GC operated and neglected by the same owner. Heads up to th…

Food was great, had the Poutine for an appetizer, could have used a little more gravy but was very good still. 1st pizza was a Margherita stone fired pizza and you could really taste the smokiness in the crust, 2nd pizza was their Defiant pizza NY style and that one was amazing. The waitress was super nice but the manager gave me a hard time when I left, walked out with a win still!

Great course. Great mixture of challenging holes and good scoring chances. I enjoyed the way the course was played out. I will recommend this course to my friends and others.
